Thaddeus Young for CJ McCollom and Thomas Robinson?

12

Blazers make a trade for a solid veteran in Thaddeus Young, to win now, since our cap space will be limited and no draft picks this year?

Putting ourselves over the top

When the Blazers acquired Buck Williams, he was that one final piece that helped put us over the top. While Robin Lopez has completely been the true Center we have lacked, I feel we are still a...

MVP?

+

Posting up career-numbers in points, rebounds, and assists in addition to leading the Trail Blazers to a current three-way tie for the league’s best record, LaMarcus Aldridge is arguably a strong candidate for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award at this point in the season. Ben Golliver of Blazers Edge relayed some noteworthy comments from Aldridge during an interview with ESPN’s Chris Broussard, and it appears that the 28-year-old forward wants to remain in Portland for the long-term: "I’m here. I love it here. This team is good and we’re winning. I’ve been here my whole career. I’m in the history books here. I don’t want to leave. I feel this team is good enough to win it all one day and be there."

Tim Legler says the Portland Trail Blazers are legitimate NBA title contenders.

About time we got some serious recognition

Lillard third on NBA rookie ladder

6

July 15 -- Portland's Damian Lillard was slow to get going, but once he did, the birthday boy got it going. Lillard scored 21 of his 25 points in the second half Sunday night (on his 22nd birthday), and looked good doing it. Lillard ran the pick-and-roll well with fellow first-rounder Meyers Leonard (who had a double-double and could be on the Ladder soon) and got to the rim well, going to both his left and right. Lillard's nice debut lands him a high rung, but we'll see if he'll be able to hold onto it. Also climbing is Bradley Beal, who struggled a bit from the floor, but was effective and aggressive getting to the rim. Beal finished with 20 points in his third game and upped his average to 18.7 points in Vegas.

RUMOR: Batum to Minny, Kyle Korver and 2 first round draft picks to Portland

56

The Bulls want to shed Korver, because he is guaranteed $5 mil next season. They would receive a second round draft pick. Portland would inherit two first round draft picks from Minnesota. Batum would go to Minnesota. Korver only has one year left on his contract. Who to start as SF then?

Batum or Hibbert?

Here we are with an existing Player that we may have to pay up $50 mil over four years versus a Player we may pay almost $60 mil over four years. One is a Player who we drafted and has been...

Who to root for? Heat or Thunder?

I am at a standstill. I loathe both the Heat and the Thunder. To despise the Miami Heat, you probably can only assume it is because of Super Villian, Lebron James. How he left Cleveland and the...

All-Star Game Host City

Okay, I'm ticked off. As should the rest of you Blazermaniacs. I just read on Nba.com that New Orleans is being granted the 2014 All-Star game. Now wait a second, this City barely supports its...

Offseason pursuit of a PG

Just some reading material I fell upon and wanted to share it with the rest of you diehard Blazer fans. I cannot wait to see how many comments are made about the jaw dropping PG the writer said we could use if we had Mike D'Antoni at the helm. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1128160-6-point-guards-the-trail-blazers-need-to-pursue-this-offseason

JJ Hickson bandwagon

This season started off with such promise at 7-2. We were the talk of the NBA. We ourselves who just lost Brandon Roy and thinking "what now?", were at this point, at 7-2, thinking with the...
