CB Willie Andrews in trouble with the law again

It appears we may be without the services of Willie Andrews for a while.  He was arrested Monday morning after alledgely holding a gun to his girlfriend's head.  This is the second brush with the law in 3 months for Andrews.  With the new conduct policy that took effect June 1, he could face suspension time for this.  I know that the Pats did a lot in the offseason to shore up the defense, so this will hurt that effort.  Only time will tell what effect this will have in the long run.

I have included a link to the story in which I found this:

2001 Super Bowl ring at auction

I ran across this today.  http://www.lelands.com/LotDetail.aspx?lotid=1827

This is an authenic ring from Super Bowl XXXVI.  There are several pictures of it and the box in which it was presented.

I wish that I had the funds to get in on the action, because this is probably a once in a lifetime chance to own an actual Patriots ring.

Team Loyalty

I consider myself to be a fan of the greatest NFL team ever, however, I don't think I could do what this guy has done.

I have often thought about getting the team emblem tattooed on my arm(I don't have any tats), even went as far as to draw what I wanted it to look like.  But I don't believe I could sit there and have it done to my noggin.  That has to be very painful to have it done there.  But it makes me respect him for sitting through it.

I bet Stampede Blue is gonna love this!

I found this surfing.  Check it out.

I, for one, couldn't agree more with Ron's assessment of Tom Brady.  It's nice to finally see someone on ESPN give him his due.

I have believed for several years now that Brady was the better quarterback, and now his individual stats speak volumes.

Man, I hope the officiating is better

in the AFC championship game.  If this is an all-star crew, then some one needs to go back and recount.  How many facemask penalties can a crew miss on the first Pats drive of the game? They missed 3 of them, three plays in a row.  And then another obvious one on third down right before the half that would have given us a first down.  The first Brady incompletion should have been pass interference.  If this is the crew we have next week, then the NFL should be ashamed.  It couldn't have been more apparent who the refs were wanting to win tonight(and it wasn't the Pats).

Does it bother anyone else...

... or just me?  All season I have had to listen and read how the "Spygate" incident was the motivation for what the Patriots have done this year.
No one talks about the fact they lost the AFC championship game last year, and that is the reason for their motivation.
It seems that the media have forgotten the aggressive aquisitions(Moss, Welker, Thomas, Stallworth) this team got in the offseason in trades and free agency preparing for this year.
Before the first game of the year, I heard a couple of "experts" on TV predict that the Pats had the ability to run the table because of the upgrades on both sides of the ball.
Then comes the opening game against the Jets.  Everyone forgot about what happened in the offseason and then said the Pats motivation was Belichick thumbing his nose at the league for getting caught cheating.
Horsepuckey!!
This team was a few seconds from going to the Super Bowl last year with suspect receivers.
Am I the only person who is not really surprised that they have won all 16 games this season?
I am thrilled to be a fan of this team and I am enjoying the ride.
With all the records being set, I personally don't believe the videotape incident had anything to do with how they played.
I believe that loss against Indy is what set everything in motion and kept it going this year.
It awoke the hunger for another Super Bowl trophy.

Anyone else feel this way, or am I way off base?
