Everybody one clap

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

Not related to the 49ers...just thought that if someone out there needed some motivation or encouraging words that this might help.

Peter King thinks Dalton could go at 7

seems like there is no chance of this...but would people rather have him or Gabbert?

Peterson and 49ers connection

"LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson was asked Wednesday if he got a "special vibe" from any team during the draft process by our friend Bob Glauber of Newsday. Peterson didn’t hesitate: "The 49ers. The energy we had watching film was great." ~PFT

Bulger is an Option

This is probably known by most fans, but haven't really seen it talked about too much on the site. "In looking beyond the draft at the Niners’ quarterback situation, Lombardi sees San Francisco as potential players for Cincinnati’s Carson Palmer, assuming he’s on the trade market. And he also "fully expects" the Niners to pursue free agent Marc Bulger, not a name that’s generally been linked to San Francisco."

Plutonium Grade Raw Material

Harbaugh said the "ability to make people miss as a quarterback is critical. Avoid. Being able to go with your legs. We've got some quarterbacks in this draft like Cam Newton and (Blaine) Gabbert in particular, and Jake Locker that not only will make people miss and avoid people, but they can run and keep defenses out of certain coverages, which is quite the trait to have. And they can pick up first downs with their legs, keep the chains moving. "And Cam Newton - that's plutonium-grade raw material, you know? I haven't seen upside like with this guy in probably the last 10 years." " ***Note*** Harbaugh and the 49ers met with Newton at the combine and GM Trent Baalke attended his pro day. But the team has not yet set up a visit with him as have most of the other QB-needy teams picking in the Top 10.

Alex Smith is the 21st best QB

According to ESPN, here is the rankings for all starting Qb's in the League.  Our boy Alex is 21st on the list.  They give vague analysis so I left that out.    h...

Cardinals want to be like us...

They may not say it out loud...but we are in their heads.   Heres a link to an article from espn talking about the Cards team trying to "toughen up"...The Niners don't pretend to be tough...from...
