Liberty Ballers Attendance

I know the 76ers aren't the Miami Heat, but damn they beat the Nuggets tonight, and our record isn't awful at 20-26 considering how early the season is still.  I think our home attendance is pathetic, I don't understand how the Sixers draw significantly less fans than the Toronto Raptors.  Maybe we wouldn't have lost to the Grizzlies if we actually had some fans in the building.  You can't argue the impact of a full arena of fans

Liberty Ballers Could the Sixers possibly trade Elton For TMac?

Apparently the Rockets are looking to unload Tracy McGrady and would not mind taking on a long term deal in return.  Do you think the Sixers would consider trading Elton for one year of McGrady since it's obvious Elton has no place in this team's future?  I don't know the exact salary numbers, but I believe both players are making around 20 mil per year.  Elton's play has been decent lately and I'm sure the Rockets would like to add a low post presence in the absence of Yao, plus he would be a nice compliment to Yao at PF when he returns.  The Sixers would have more salary cap flexibility if they traded for TMac, plus Speights would probably recieve more playing time which he deserves since he has been outplaying elton to this point.  I wonder if this trade is possible

Liberty Ballers Larry Brown ruined the Sixers

Larry Brown made the one move that have doomed the sixers for the past decade.  He drafted friggin Larry Hughes over Paul Pierce and Dirk.  If we had one of those players during our 2001 Run, we would have taken the Lakers.  So don't blame our sixers bad fortunes solely on AI, he did what he could with garbage for a decade.  I have some faith in the team we have now, theres alot of potential.  I'm just hoping Iverson can make another run with this group, because he was undeniably one of the most talented players in the past 20 years.  If he fails, im not gonna blame him for the sixers misfortune, that was larry brown and the organizations fault.  They have made some terrible moves since AI left, like signing Elton Brand to a max contract, imagine they could have spent that money on resigning Andre Miller.  So give AI a freakin break, he should have had pleanty of championships in his career but he was screwed over by the dumbasses in managment over its course.

Liberty Ballers Iverson and the Sixers are gonna suprise some people

Looks like AI is definitely coming back http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4702589
Unlike the majority of people in the world, I think the addition of Iverson would put the sixers back into the frame of truly relevant teams in the East, remember 2 years ago Allen averaged over 25 points a game as the second scoring option to Carmelo Anthony.  This sixers team is probably by far the most talented group to surround Allen assuming Elton can continue to perform as he did against the Mavericks plus the return of Speights and not to mention an improved Iguodala, and Thaddeus Young.  I think its a bunch of BS to worry that AI is gonna ruin the development of players like thaddeus and and Jrue holiday.  Holiday is only 20 years old, he still has to earn his place in the league, Allen is an MVP and mulitiple scoring champion, he deserves the respect to be a starter in this league.  I feel like Iguodalas play will only elevate as he was a great compliment with AI in the past as the recipient of many allyoops.  But Iggy is not a number one option, he cannot create his own shot.  The sixers played well enough to provide a formidible challenge to the Magic last year in the playoffs minus elton Brand.  With a healthy Brand and a motivated Allen starting for this team, Look for them to go far this year.
