The Braves have decided to keep Salty as a backup catcher, and firstbase platoon according to the official site. They have granted Craig Wilson his release, after and underwhelming start to the year.

I thought it had been a while since the last one was posted, so we needed a new one.

So post your thoughts, and could someone please start a new one in about 15 minutes, as we really can't go too long without breaching this subject again. I think he may be on a plane to Boston, and he may or may not be an A prospect. I can't seem to recall how much he signed for, so any info on that would be appreciated.

Davies slated to get the call

Looks like Kyle Davies is scheduled to get a call up for the weekend series against Boston.

Mike Hampton looks like he won't be able to start this weekend for the Braves, and with Thompson out with a finger injury, that leaves the Braves with no choice but to call up a starter for the weekend series with Boston. Looks like he is going to get the nod for the Saturday tilt. If he could choose, he probably wouldn't choose as his ML debut. Maybe this will be a good test to see what he really is capable of.
