http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3438827

Basically the story says Milton was in the clubhouse during the game and heard the Royals announcer says some stuff about him he didnt like. After the game was over he raced upstairs to lay down the hand of of smack. JD and Washington caught him. Which tells me that leg injury he suffered the other day was the only thing keeping him from a 20 game suspension. He had to be hobbled if Wash and JD caught him.

Anway not sure what was said, but Im glad they stopped him. I actually like Milton and his temper/passion for the game.

If I missed this from somehwere else, I appologize.

From the ESPN rumor mill

Rangers, Red Sox discussing Manny
Nov 17 - The Red Sox are talking to the Rangers about a possible deal for Manny Ramirez, ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney reports. Texas is looking for a bat to help bolster its lineup, in an offseason in which they might lose Carlos Lee, Mark DeRosa and Gary Matthews Jr.

Rehashed old news or new hot burner kind of stuff?

The more I hear all of the journalist claim the Red Sox have made the highest bid on D-Mat, something continues to befuddle me. Why havnt we heard a confirmation yet from the Lions?

If, by all opinions previous to the bidding, we all though 20-30 mil would win this thing, the Lions ownership had to be expecting around the same dollar figure.

So if the Red Sox blew them out of the water, 40, 42, 50, 58... whatever the number is, why wouldnt they jump on the offer?

Is it possible a bid of oh say 27 mil might have actually been the highest bid?

Im really just thinking out loud. But could Olney, and Gammons and a bunch of these blowhards be wrong?

Probably not. The Japanese are just taking their good ole time but a Ranger fan can still dream right?

I just heard in passing that at halftime they were going to discuss the Cowboys may have a new QB? I dont know if this is something about Romo's performance in week 1 or what. I will be listening. IF anyone else heard this, listen up at halftime.

peace.

123234459idhjfbv;ehb;vihnebvihqe;ivbe;oinvbf;oiq

I was watching Baseball tonight, they just said Shea is going to SF to play 1B.... dont know who for, but at least hes not going to LAA or another AL West team...

I think this could be a good move for SF, considering how weak the NL West is. He cant hurt. I guess we will see. Still glad hes not going to be a Ranger.

This isnt a huge story or anything, but I was reading fox sports fantasy reports on who could be a bust this year. When I came across Brian Roberts. Just read.

Brian Roberts- After coming out of nowhere to set career-highs in batting average (.314), homers (18), and RBIs (73) last season, the big question is whether Roberts can do it again. His power surge was particularly surprising, as Roberts came into the season with just 12 career homers in nearly 400 big-league games. Eight of Roberts' 18 homers came in April last year and he hit a total of just three long balls in 248 at-bats after the All-Star break, suggesting that either the magic pixie dust wore off sometime in July or his deal with the devil expired after a 90-day trial period.

I just thought that was funny. 90-day free trial. lol

http://msn.foxsports.com/fantasy/story/5275214

You missed one hell of a time. The fans were rowdy and loud. Almost the entire lower level was full.

I just got home... and the best part of the night, Justin Blalock announced he was staying for his senior year.

What a great night, capped off by Vince running around the stadium saying thanks to the fans.

It was a great night.

I love the comparison to Nolan. Great read.

ESPN News and .com is reporting Braden Looper is going to sign with the Cards.

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2260552

3 years 13.5 mil.... seems a little steep. Looper was a horrible closer, but I know the Rangers thought he would look nice in front of Coco.

Another MR lost.
