As a Nets fan for the past ten years (I'm seventeen now). I've seen them have a sub-par ownership. Despite all this the Nets are still able to win. We are also underdogs and never talked about within the media. Its always about the New York Knicks. But now, I feel that with the new ownership we have these days are over. We are now a force in this league and we're not going to let a small-market team like the Nuggets demand things for a player who doesn't want to be there.

  I'm going to explain why all these demands by the Nuggets is not legit.

 1.) Melo already said it - Carmelo Anthony stated "he's willing to sign an extension with either the Nets or the Rockets. We can cross the Rockets out because the Clippers and the Nets are already the top candidates.

 2.) Can you actually see Melo in a Clipper's uniform? - Even if the Clippers offered the better players I don't think Melo would go there. Even I wouldn't play for them. With all the lottery picks they've had over the years and are still not winning, then I don't see him going there. So lets cross them out.

 3.) Minnesota, Washington, and any other team? - As the old Nigerian saying "Fohget Dat One!!!". I don't see them as contenders.

 The Nets are the rich monarchies and the Nuggets are poor beggers wanting food. They should be happy with what they get. In conclusion, the Nets call the shots. So on the menu : Murphy(give the Nuggets cap space next season to rebuild), and either Humphries or Williams or James.

 Tell me what you guys (my Nets Family) thinks? I would like to hear your opinions.

        For a fact, I know I would be upset if Brook Lopez gets traded. He was one of our bright spots this season. Also, he is one of the top centers in the league(which is hard to find these days). To trade him for Carmelo would not be worth it.  Let's look at other players.

       I also would mind if Derrick Favors gets traded. Is potential is off the roof. And remember the last power forward we drafted with the first pick and how good he became? Wouldn't it kill you if Favors became the next Shaq or Tim Duncan while in Denver? These are the only two players I wouldn't give up.

     Here's my trade: Murphy, Williams, Humphries, and picks and cash for Melo ..... if they include Billups or Smith I'd throw in Harris.
