Justin Miller CB/KR has been cut by the New York Jets. He (Miller) went to a Pro Bowl in 2006, and while some say he may have lost some of his explosiveness, that he once had, he is still relatively young and i think could be worth a shot.

Besides can he be any worse than Will James? i mean come on was i the only one that saw a 100 year old WR out running this guy on every stinkin play? Also this piece of crap doesn't tackle he jumps on the Offensive Players back and the offensive player finally gets tired of carrying him. I mean seriously the reason Donald Driver goes off for 140 yds with a TD is because Will James couldn't cover a Dead Cow. and another thing Greg Jennings had a sub-par game, is this because the Lions had better coverage on him? hmm lets think, MOVE YOUR BETTER CB (Buchanon or Henry) OVER TO THE GUY CATCHING ALL THE BALLS. I mean what a concept. Anyway anybody is an upgrade in this secondary, i mean can it really get any worse? so why not take a chance on a former Pro Bowler?

Well it looks like we have our Franchise QB, a great Young TE, one of the best WR in the NFL, a great young leader in the Defensive Secondary, and a Veteran LB core.

Areas of Strength: Quarterback,Linebackers,Tight End

Areas of Need: Cornerback, Defensive Line,Offensive Line

Areas that could use an upgrade: Wide Receiver,Running Back,Safety

ok now that we have addressed the thing we need to fix lets go over this Ndamukong Suh and Eric Berry are the only two guys worthy of Drafting with our 1st pick (In my opionion) maybe Taylor Mays,Terrence Cody,Russell Okung or yes even Dez Bryant could be intruiging here as well but i pray it will be one of the first two mentioned.

My ideal Draft would be this:

RD1 Eric Berry SS Tennessee

RD 2 Dan Williams DT Tennessee

RD 3 Mick Williams DT Pitt

those would be my first 3 picks if i could get them, this sets up your Defensive Line (a new Williams wall in the NFC North?) and give you argueably the best Safety combo in the NFL (Delmas,Berry). The penetration your going to get from the DT should allow more one on one matchups for DE's (Hunter,Bryan,Avril) and takes a little pressure off the LB core, the Safeties will make a QB think twice a lot and will also be able to help a lot in the cover game. Even though i this is the draft i would do, there are a lot of prospects i like, lets take a look

Eric Berry SS 6-0 195: This guy is a beast plain and simple. He is a can't miss prospect at Safety. Some say he could be the next Ed Reed, but who knows.

Taylor Mays SS 6-4 225: A freak, although i like Berry a whole lot better this guy has a bunch of talent too, and is probably worthy of being mentioned in the top 5

Ndamukong Suh DT 6-4 305: He has Kong in his name im just gonna leave it at that

Terrence Cody DT 6-5 365: Go watch the Alabama vs Tennessee game and you will see why i like this guy, he is a game changer, he does have conditioning questions though

Gerald McCoy DT 6-4 295: This guy is built like a tank he has nice athleticsim, but i have watched him play a couple times this year and he doesn't seem to get through a lot and i dont know that i like this, but still a great prospect

Russell Okung DT 6-5 305: I don't know to much about him but it sounds like he is better than Backus and thats all that matters right?

Dez Bryant WR 6-2 210: Would probably look great next to Calvin Johnson but can we afford to take a WR with our 1st pick?

I don't really see many other choices for our first pick but there are some other prospects that intruige me later on

Kendall Hunter or Keith Toston RBs OK State: Ok look both will be later round picks and i look at it this way, we have drafted to RBs from Oklahoma Colleges in the past and they did pretty well for us (Billy Sims Oklahoma, Barry Sanders OK State)

Dan Williams DT Tenn and Mick Williams DT Pitt: Basically i want our own Williams wall. I have seen Dan Willams play and i think he will be a steal for somebody

Mark Dell,Blair White,Greg Matthews WRs: All have shown flashes of good things so we will see

Jermaine Gresham TE: if he drops i would love to see him taken, i mean think of Stafford having him and Pettigrew to throw to

Any way those are my thoughts, i didn't include any DEs cause i think Jason Hunter and Copeland Bryan as well as Cliff Avril can be good with the right peices by them. I didn't inculde any RBs cause i am just not impressed with any in this Draft Class same thing goes with CB, but hey its early we will see at the combine

Here are my thoughts

Ok first off my beef is with Scott Linehan, what the heck is this Playbook? i am so sick of seeing stupid screen plays run in 2nd and Longs and 3rd and Longs. We Drafted Matthew Stafford for his Arm and Decision making did we not? then why on earth do you have him get the ball turn and look to Kevin Smith and throw a Short little Screen? Please someone tell me. Next you have Clavin Johnson sitting on the Bench, why? because he is injured because you decided to throw to him behind or at the line of scrimmage where Safeties and Corners and even Linebackers can take full shots at him. Stupid,Stupid,Stupid. Next you drafted a big time TE then you run a stupid offense he has no part in, what the heck for? Get him involved you idiot! no about Kevin Smith, why the heck is he touching the ball so much? he isn't a established Veteran, he is one year removed from a decent Rookie year so please tell me why he is getting more touchs then anyone on the team? your treating this guy like he is Steven Jackson or Adrian Peterson, well i got news for you... He Sucks!

Ah now for you Kevin Smith, you suck end of story. i am sick and tired of hearing about how you are gonna break through NEXT game. Show up or Ship out. thats it no questions.

Defensive Line come on why don't you try to get through to the QB? i mean is it really to much to ask for? i didn't think so.

Special Teams, Tackle the Guy with the Ball because well thats the way you play Football

Jim Schwartz, why do you have Fitzsimmions on this team? Dan Gronkowski is younger and just as good so bring him up. Aaron Brown and Derrick Williams give them more touchs, i mean what can it hurt?

Martin Mayhew, if you don't Draft Eric Berry your an idiot.

oh and another thing Linehan Backus sucks but he is a better blocker then Felton get that through your head.

Basically that was my rant, i feel a lot better know after i get this stuff off my chest.

My Thoughts from the game

There were some things i liked, but also some things that scare me.

What i Liked:

The Return Game) I liked what i saw from Aaron Brown and Dennis Northcutt. For the frst time since Eddie Drummond we actually have guys who can return a football.

The Defensive Intensity) Louis Delmas,Ernie Sims,Larry Foote they all showed a nasty streak we haven't had in a long time.

The LB core and Secondary) They played great i would have like to see a few more blitz packages, but an Interception for the secondary, a fumble return, and a lot of hard hitting.

What i Disliked:

Tunnel Vision) Matthew Stafford looked to me like he made his decision before the snap, he dropped back looked for an opening and whipped it in there, sometimes he hit sometimes he missed. GO THROUGH YOUR CHECKS.

Offensive Line) We couldn't run, our QB had no time,costly Penalties,blah,blah,blah. The Offensive Line needs to step up its game

The Offense) Where was Felton? Brown? Pettigrew? Why didn't Northcutt and B. Johnson get more passes thrown there way? I mean look Kevin Smith is good but you have a nice opportunity to mix things up, why don't you?

The Defensive Line) Where is the pressure? Where the heck did Cliff Avril Disappear to? Cohen,Fluellen and Hill have to step up if the want to win any games.

Im sure there are other things i forgot to mention but to me those are the big ones i don't know if you see the same things i do but to me these are major things. If Stafford doesn't go through the routes he will not be a good QB in the NFL he needs to relax and make the right decision, maybe its the Offensive Line not giving him any help idk.

Well tell me what you thought of the game.

With Stanton having surgery and Culpepper slicing his toe is it fate that Stafford is to Start? Now everyone should know i am not a huge fan of starting Stafford right away but i would rather have a Rookie healthy QB rather then a toe less Veteran. Now if Culpepper comes back and is healthy im still pushing for him to start. I don't know if anybody else read a recent article saying that Peyton Manning said Rookie QBs should start im mean stuff he said i can understand but i still think that Culpepper would be a better chance to win if he is healthy, well at least the first few games.

QB Situation and Preseason Questions

Ok first i want to say Stafford is going to be a great QB in this league but right now Culpepper is the QB we got use and listen im saying if he goes down Drew Stanton could be a solid Backup. One of the big things that everybody loved about Stafford was his ability to learn and i believe that if you give him a year of watching film he will come out next year knowing certian things about Defenses translating into fewer mistakes. The Next thing i would like to talk about is the Defense, Deandre Levy is going to get a ton of time at LB, Louis Delmas is going to be feared and Cohen,Hill,Fluellen,and Avril are all going to step up big for this Defense. The Offense, Derrick Williams and Demir Boldin are both going to make this team i believe, Aaron Brown is going to make the team and i believe he will be part of a three headed Monster (Smith,Felton,Brown) Dane Looker is going to be Mike Furrey for us and Standeford,Cason,and the rest of those jokers are all gonna get cut. Look the Special Teams suck, Stan Kwan should have been canned. 14 Points they allowed (Im blaming that first Touchdown on them) they suck just plain suck, you take those points away and we are right in the game.

Defense is Desire

With the recent signings of Gordon,Villanueva and Wilcox we look to be a very explosive team on the Offensive side of the ball, my question is are we going to have Defense from the three new signings? I am not convinced we are a going to be a Defensive team, but that being said Defense isn't a skill its all desire and if these guys buy into the desire then i see this team being a top 5 team. I think we are going to see a team like this Starters: PG:Bynum SG:Hamilton SF:Prince PF:Villanueva C:Wilcox Reserves: PG:Stuckey SG:Gordon SF:Daye,Jerekbo PF:Maxiell,Summers C:Brown,(Wallace) Please people stop saying trade Hamilton its stupidity First Gordon is willing to come off the bench he has done so his entire career, second Rip is capable of playing SF so you could play him and Gordon at the same time, if anyone is to be traded it should be Prince who has 2 maybe three rookies behind him good enough to start.

Why is anyone talking about trading Porcello? he is a 20 year old Pitcher with Top of the Rotation stuff oh and by the way he isn't pitching at the A,AA or AAA level he is in the Majors already, we cant trade him it would be stupid. Here is my thoughts we need a nice Bat in this Lineup i know that, but do we need to trade Porcello or Perry to get a good Bat? I don't think we do i think what we should do is trade Polanco i mean what contender would not want a great Defensive 2nd Baseman who can hit quite well? if you trade him to a contender for some good prospects you can turn and trade those prospects to get a nice bat, plus Scott Sizemore looks ready to play in the Majors so we wouldn't lose much if any at 2nd Base. Bring up Wilkin Ramirez and let him play i mean come on anybody can play better then Maggs right now. You keep your young arms and get your bat i don't know maybe it can't work i don't but those are thoughts
