Adrian Peterson vs RAVENS Defense
Adrian Peterson is one of the most dominant running backs in NFL, he ran well against almost all defenses in the league. He is an important candidate for 2009 MVP, he has now a better QB in Brett Favre (al least better than Tarvaris Jackson), and a great Offensive Line.
Raven defense has +40 games witout allowing any RB with 100+ yards, since KC Larry Jonhson in 2006...
Do you think our defense will limite Peterson under 100 yards?????

Ravens 2008 Draft Picks
How good do you think our 2008 draft was???
This are our picks:
Rd Sel # Player Position
1 18 Joe Flacco QB - No question, really great pick. -A-
2 55 Ray Rice RB - Also a great pick, maybe our best 2nd rounder in years. -A-
3 71 Tavares Gooden OLB - Still hasnt play much, but he shows potential this preseason. -B-
3 86 Tom Zbikowski FS - I expect more from him, but he is not bad. -C-
3 99 Oniel Cousins T - I though he was Willie Anderson replacement when we draft him. Now he is a questionable backup -F-
4 106 Marcus Smith WR - Bad luck with his injury, but his rookie year was not impressive -D-
4 133 David Hale G - He can result a good backup, for a 4th round, I think is ok -B-
6 206 Haruki Nakamura FS - Really good backup, and maybe even someday starter. Great for a 6 round -A-
7 215 Justin Harper WR - Practice Squad first year, good training camp, inconsistent preseason. Ok for a 7th round -B-
7 240 Allen Patrick RB -Didnt make the team, he is now with the Browns -F-
What do you think?

Tony Pashos available
Acoording to ROTOWORLD.COM, Tony Pashos could be among the final cuts of the Jaguars:
http://www.rotoworld.com/content/home_NFL.aspx
"NFL.com's Jason La Canfora suggests that Jaguars OT Tony Pashos could be among the team's final cuts on Saturday.
Interestingly, La Canfora says Pashos "has been moved inside (to guard)," essentially meaning either rookie Eben Britton or free agent pickup Tra Thomas will be Jacksonville's starting right tackle. Pashos won't start at guard, and his $4.34 million salary is way too hefty for a swing-type reserve."
Anyone think we can go for him as a good backup for Oher, and the 3 takles packages?????

Who do you think will be the 53 men to pass the last cut???
My opinion:
OFFENSE (24)

J Flacco, T Smith, J Beck
RB (4)
W McGahee, L McLain, R Rice, C Peerman
TE (3)
T Heap, LJ Smith, Q Sypniewski
WR (5)
D Mason, M Clayton, D Williams, M Smith, J Harper/E Riley/someone of the 4 WR brought for camp
OL (9)
J Gaither, B Grubbs, M Birk, M Yanda, M Oher, C Chester, A Terry, O Cousin, D Hale
DEFENSE (26)

ILB (5)
R Lewis, T Gooden, J Phillips, P Burgess, B Ayanbadejo
OLB (4)
T Suggs, J Johnson, J McLain, A Barnes
CB (6)
D Foxworth, F Washington, S Rolle, L Webb, C Carr, D Martin
S (4)
E Reed, D Landry, T Zbikowski, H Nakamura
SPECIAL TEAMS (3)
M Katula (LS)
S Koch (P)
G Gano (K)
PRACTICE SQUAD:
D Drew (TE)
B Mattison (DE)
E Weelwrigth (WR)
E Riley (WR)
S Haushka (K)
E Jones (TE)
D Willy (QB)
J Cook (FB)
I think Willie Anderson and Frank Walker will be cut after camp (4.5 million cap)...
Also I think we will not carry a FB on active roster, but J Cook will be around if one of our starting TE goes down.
D Drew will take LJ Smith after this year (Smith has only a 1 year contract). He is the same type of player. A passing TE.
Definitive I see Figurs out of the team. I think with Carr, Webb, and any other WR he makes no sense for us.
What do you think?

Ravens sign QB John Beck
Acording to profootball.com former dolphins QB John Beck will sign a one year contract with Baltimore on sunday. Terms weren´t disclosed.
Beck´s connection to Baltimore is through offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, who draft him in 2007, when he was Miami´s head coach.
He will compite will Troy Smith for the No. 2 spot at QB.
Also was reported that he had interest from 6 NFL teams before deciding for Baltimore, because of his relation with Cameron, and QB coach Hue Jackson.

Undrafted Free Agents
The Ravens sign some Undrafted Free Agents:
Ravens
QB Drew Willy (Buffalo)
DT Will Johnson (Michigan)
OL Greg Ryan (Western Kentucky)
DE Willie VanDeSteeg (Minnesota)
WR Eron Riley (Duke)
FB Jason Cook (Mississippi)
LB Dannell Ellerbe (Georgia)
K Graham Gano (FSU
I think WR Eron Riley is an interest prospect. I found something abou him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dNr0XBIADE .
He is 6´3, 206 lbs. He has good stats, 700 yards, 8 td..
And maybe the best one is K Graham Gano. He was Kiper best rated Kicker... Hewas 26 of 28 last year, 5 - 7 form 50 yards plus...
