Tonight's Tigers game will be on at 1am GMT on NASM, which is on satellite and cable feeds in Western Europe, one of the biggest carriers being CanalSat. I bring this up because:
(1) the rebroadcast agreement outside the UK is so new the game doesn't even show up in program listings except the online version for NASM UK, and some European LL readers might not even know they have it yet
(2) it's the last Mariners game broadcast in Europe this year, unless Seattle makes game of the week, which has about as much chance of happening as Mac regularly starting to use something other than counting stats to make decisions.
I know this is "just" the ESPN feed, but beggars can't be choosers.

Isn't sure even for today, so there may be 4 games to make up sometime before the sky falls again, this making Byrd's Friday blow-up even more trivial and adding the (distant) possibility of the Ms playing 3 games in 22 hours, including Boston's home opener on Tuesday morning.

Even MLB is starting to get pissed off at this and is now, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, thinking about moving this week's Cleveland LAA series to Anaheim.

If that does happen, and no games get played today, I can't imagine what kind of technicolor rage Indians' fans are going to go into.

Finnigan this morning quoting his usually reliable FO sources:

"Sources say the Mariners are considering moving Pineiro to the bullpen to give him a chance to work out the troubles that have seen him tagged for a 1-5 record and a 7.54 earned-run average in those games.

"Asked if it was a coincidence that left-hander Jake Woods was allowed to stretch out to four innings in relief of Pineiro, a club official responded: "No, it was not."

Can't say I like Woods that much as a SP, but with Joel clearly unable to get third strikes or third outs, something has to give.
