http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AkR4F598hWyXSVXMcak_.hl.0bYF?slug=ap-rockets-yaoinjured&prov=ap&type=lgns

We will have to wait at least one week to find out if Yao is going to have surgery on his foot....dont think I can wait that long...it has been bothering me since the report came out on how it might be "career threatening". Yaos agent has stated that there are still group consultations of doctors holding different opinions and plans...The result of these consultations are due within a week...

So I guess we suck it up for another week and hope for the best....Meanwhile I hope we sign a backup center soon......Good luck Yao!................

Theres an interesting an article at this website http://www.cantstopthebleeding.com/?p=17913

This talks about trading T-Mac to the 76ers for Center Samuel Dalembert and Guard Willie Green. We know the Rockets are in desperate need of a backup center for Yao and maybe even a starter if Yao could possibly be out for the beginning of the season so what do yall think of this deal. It would also give us an experienced shooting guard in Green. Personally Im not really sure about how I feel about this trade, mostly because Im one of the few that would like to see what Tracy McGrady could do coming back from rehab. Nonetheless, I am not the Rockets GM and I trust Morey will make the right decision on what to do with Mac.

A few stats about these players

Career Totals:

Samuel Dalembert : 8.1 pts / 8.1 reb / 2.0 blks / 52.4% FG shooting

Willie Green : 9.5 pts / 1.7 assists / 41.6% FG shooting

Greens werent that impressive ( I left out the 1 steal a game and 73% FT shooting...) but its not like we could have gotten Igoudala....either way I think after finishing this post that I am leaning towards a NO for this trade but what do yall think??

And heres a picture for laughs.....

Dalembert had some badass hair didnt he??

ESPN's John Hollinger put together a very detailed list of the top 30 Franchises in the NBA and the Rockets just so happened to rank # 10 on this column....heres some nice statistics for you if you dont feel like putting the finger strength into clicking on the link....

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2009/columns/story?columnist=hollinger_john&page=FranchiseRankings-Rockets

Houston Rockets

Wins : 1,737 All-Stars : 51

Playoff Wins : 116 Best Player : Hakeem Olajwon (No Question)

Series Wins : 24 Best Coach : Rudy Tomjanovich

Titles : 2 Best Team : 1993-1994 (58-24, won NBA Title)

Not as good as your Lakers or Celtics lists but still pretty good compared to others...The Lakers, of course, ranked #1 on this list and those statistics were pretty damn impressive (125 All Stars 393 Playoff wins..ouch)....

Any comments???

Adelman:.....(To Himself)...I wonder how a Von Hawk would look on me.....ARTEST GET OUT OF KOBES FACE!....Damn maybe I should think about this magical haircut......

I will end this by saying that I love Von Wafers hair by the way and Rons is even more bad ass....I promised my friends I would get my hair exactly like Rons if they get past the Lakers...We'll see how it goes...As crazy as that hair is, I really want the Rockets to move on to win a championship..it is long over due...GO ROCKETS!!!
