Did anyone read the attached article on Caldwell?  He seemed to blame the late season breakdown on himself.  I think we probably could have a couple more games if he wasn't suspended because he was the leader on a weak offensive line.  He said he was 50-50 on declaring for the draft.  I think it would be big if he stayed.

I think we had a better shot at winning the West this year than we will next year.  What does everyone else think? We will have all of our tough games on the road next year, and we will key losses that will be tough to replace (Gillberry, Castile and Hall).  As for the game this weekend.  The team toughness impresses me and is greatly improved over the past several years.  The fumble at the end of the game is hard to swallow.  Shouldn't we have run it on 1st down to get the clock moving?
