This young man is a prime example of the power of redemption and how experience can both humble and shape a person towards the better. I can tell by the interview that he really wanted to stay in Brooklyn. He had nothing but good things to say about the organization except: it's clear we were feigning after Dwight flippin Howard and that just destroyed any possibility of resigning him. We are gonna end regretting not resigning him. I wish this fellow the best of luck. He will be missed.

Since Dwightmare Pt. 2 is now pretty much done here's what I think will happen. I predict Dwight will go to OKC for James Harden and Serge Ibaka. I'd be shocked if Hennigan (or whatever the Orl GM's name is) has been in contact with his old boss and they are the clear clear answer to the question. If that's the case that would explain why Billy King gave the deadline (he knew they didn't want to deal). It would also show that Orlando's plan the hold time was to give D12 the impression that they made an honest attempt to get it done. Then they'll trade his arse to OKC and dare his butt to leave Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook. I can't see him leaving what would be a championship team. That lineup would be:

Westbrook: PG, Sefalosha: SG, K. Durant: SF, Perry Jones III: PF and manning the middle: Dwight Flippin Howard.

Tell me with a straight face that D12 would leave that after they won a ring next year. I just can't see it.

500k to buy out his contract and a teaming of Ill Will and D James makes for a tough minded platoon. He is also serviceable in stints at the 4 (which is great if you want to play more uptempo with Nene at the 5 - hoping we get him). Added on top of that Will wants to be back in the NYC area. I hope Billy has this in mind as an option.
