'Tis the Season....For pointless trade ideas

We know the Bucks, we've had to sit through their games. So, while we're at it, why don't we let our imaginations run wild and dream up some trades that will never happen, shall we? Things...

#FearTheDeer Twitter Notes: December 16th 2010

The Bucks' plan of world domination has not come to fruition yet, but we're on the case.  A new and revitalized Andrew Bogut has made a valiant return to......Twitter.  Yes, his most important duty...

The Shot Burglar does his thing.

The Shot Burglar does his thing.

Possible chemistry issues, Delfino may need a helmet, and the Bucks' stuttering offense continues.

Kennedy: What's Wrong in Milwaukee? With the Bucks falling short of expectations thus far, it's not that unreasonable to suspect that something may be amiss in the locker room.  It could be that...

#FearTheDeer Twitter Notes December 2nd 2010

Bogut will miss at least the next 2 games.

First reaction: We're screwed. Who knows what's up with Maggette/Gooden.

#FearTheDeer Twitter Notes: November 4th, 2010

We're already here, to the first post of the new season.  I'm dedicating this post to Drew Gooden, because I can, and because he gets no love. Shame.  I'm also starting a campaign to get him back...

#FearTheDeer Twitter Notes: Oct. 25th 2010

This is Twitter notes, "Regular season edition."  I'm not quite sure what that entails yet, but it's a responsibility I'm willing to take. I know what this DOES mean is that players will probably...

#FearTheDeer Twitter Notes: Oct. 20th 2010

As part of our weekly attempt to divert attention from preseason boredom (and injuries), here's Jacob's latest Bucks Twitter roundup. No need to waste hours of your life reading about Brandon...

#FearTheDeer Twitter Notes: October 11th, 2010

The Preseason is under way, but that doesn't change anything for this little writeup of mine.  Except a certain someone is no longer with us.  A VERY important someone, mind you. Brandon Jennings ...

Bucks new TV Ad featuring Dennis Haysbert

Cheesy as heck, but I guess it gets the point across. "Are you in good hands?"

You wish you were as cool as Corey Maggette. Welcome back, slaves to the establishment loyal readers.  Today, we discuss the virtue of patience, the affect of religion in our society, and the...

#FearTheDeer Twitter Notes: September 11th, 2010

Jacob (aka Speedy) was kind enough to once again put together his weekly Twitter digest of all things Bucks. Thanks Jacob!  Today on the agenda: Andrew returns to Twitter, Delfino gets a special...

#FeartheDeer Twitter Notes: Sept. 3rd, 2010

As you may have noticed, nobody posts links to news faster than our guy Speedingtime. In fact, as a blogger I should probably be embarrassed that he's always so far ahead of me on these kinds of...

Meet "Turk" Nowitzki

Article from Dime about Ersan.

Carmelo talks about extension on

"Obviously everybody knows that I’m loyal to the Denver community and to the Denver Nuggets. I’ve shown that over my seven-year stint here. I don’t think nobody can question that. But at this point in time, I’ve got to do what’s best for me and my family. If it’s taking my time, figuring out if I want to take that extension or not, then that’s what I’ve got to do." "I’m a Denver Nugget, man. I’m here. I’m with the Nuggets. I don’t become a free agent until next year – if I decide not to take that extension."

Best GM in the league?

There's been a lot of discussion lately about General Managers in the NBA and how good they are at building a competitive team.   Recently, an article on SBNation took a shot at ranking all 30...

Bucks Home Opener- October 30th against Bobcats?

I was sure they weren't supposed to be released until the 10th. Did the Bucks screw up? Watch, the link will be gone soon enough. EDIT: Yup, there it goes No matter what, glad we don't have to open it against a contender.

Dear Cleveland, When I came to this country 14 years ago, I was a young man who barely spoke the language and had no idea what to expect of this great country. As I look back on those early days, I realize how lucky I was to have grown up in Cleveland. All of you have taught me the importance of family and friends; of pulling together to get things done; of loving your country. I've never felt as proud as when I've pulled on the Wine and Gold and stepped onto the court. I've tried my best to return that support by playing as hard as I could each and every game. The decision to play for Miami was not an easy one to make for either myself or my family. But as I enter the last few years of my career, I felt I owed it to myself and my family to chase my dream of winning an NBA championship. I hope you understand. I also hope you realize Cleveland will always be home to me. With love and appreciation, Zydrunas "Z" Ilgauskas.

Drew Gooden Set For Greater Role As Milwaukee Bucks Continue to Improve

"Gooden will suit up next season with his ninth NBA team: the Milwaukee Bucks, who signed him on July 8 to a five-year, $32 million contract that will keep him happily employed and handsomely compensated until he's 33. He won't be a superstar there, either. But that's because in Milwaukee, there's no such thing -- Gooden will merely be one piece of an ensemble cast in the Badger State. Perhaps Gooden thrived in the past, hiding behind the marquee guy. He went unnoticed, which is often a good thing when you play with the style Gooden plays with. Gooden has spent much of his career as the Nuke LaLoosh of the NBA -- million-dollar body, five-cent head. He'd break plays, he'd take bad shots, he'd go minutes at a time looking inattentive and incapable of playing competent defense. But every deficiency he had was covered up by the stardom of a T-Mac, a LeBron, a Duncan. No longer."

Hammond ranked 11th best NBA GM by Mike Prada

I find it interesting that this article among many others seem to think that the recent moves by the Hammond will ruin everything that was great about the Bucks and that Hammond is going against his own philosophy by handing out big contracts to players who might not deserve it.

Not to steal a certain poster's thunder on here, but the opportunity was to great to pass up to show the world the true new big three, featuring the Buck's offseason additions! Bonus points if you can find CDR/Brockman/Dooling! Original picture here.(Found the right one.) Mine's a little rough around the edges, but hey, I'm a rookie at this ;)

Brandon Jennings a.k.a. Young Money playing in the EBC @ Rucker Park, NYC from on Vimeo.

"While his NBA team has been busy pulling off trades and free-agency signings, Brandon Jennings has been pretty busy himself. Last week he was in New York City for the NBA Draft, the NBA Elite 11 launch party, and to play in Steve Nash’s celebrity soccer game. Jennings also took some time to play in the Entertainers Basketball Classic at hallowed Rucker Park. Here’s a video of "Young Money" doing work on 155th:"
