Bears Versus Rams May Be the Final Test for Offensive Line

With the injury to Orlando Pace the Bears are forced to make some much needed moves on the offensive line. Will we finally get a better idea of what our line will look like next season?

Looking for the Bright Side: Week 12 Chicago Bears

We look back at Week 12 against the Vikings and look for the bright spots in a blowout loss to a division rival.

A brief pep-t

When you go to the flea market, it's all about planning.

Sure, the analogy is definitely out of left field, but the general idea stands. When you go to the flea market looking for a particular item you need to get there early, you need to have a really...

Now is the time to give thanks for what we have

With about a week to go until Thanksgiving I was sitting here taking a moment to reflect on what I'm thankful for. I've got a fantastic son, a wonderful job, and nothing but good things on...

So we all agree that we need some change upfront...

So why not go to an old fashioned favorite to solve our woes, and at least tell us exactly how much trouble we're in next year.   It's time for Musical Chairs! If you can't bring in any more...

Olin Kreutz or Beekman next year at Center?

vs       So, we got to see Beekman in the game yesterday replacing the walking pile of failure known as Omiyale, he might be a decent LT, but that should...

Hang in there, Bears!

Hang in there, Bears fans! Can everyone stop for a second, and breathe? Just a second. Okay, maybe two or three might be needed after today's game, but still just sit back and breathe...

To everyone who is clamoring for players with known legal/character issues.

via This may come off as a little bit holier than thou, but for the love of Ditka would everyone think twice about the player they would be willing to accept onto our B...

Staring Down at 80 Bears in the Making - Early Roster Predictions

Staring Down at 80 Bears in the Making - Early Roster Predictions

Are Urlacher's days numbered in Chicago?

via Very simple question here folks, are Urlacher's days in a Bear uniform quickly coming to an end? Everyone is talking about the play up front making our LB look bad, and...

10. A safety-free first round. Three years ago, the safety position was truly all the rage. Michael Huff and Donte Whitner were selected in the top 10, and Tennessee's Jason Allen went to Miami at 16th overall. In 2007, four safeties — including LaRon Landry at sixth overall to Washington — were selected in the first 24 picks. Last year, Kenny Phillips went to the Giants as the last pick of the first round. The 2009 NFL Draft? I don't see zilch coming from the safety position in the first round. What's with the sudden decline in the safety spot? Who knows? But aside from Western Michigan's Louis Delmas, Oregon's Patrick Chung and Mizzou's William Moore, there's no other safety that I can see going in the first 50 picks.

Adrian Peterson: Should he stay or should he go now?

via Let me start off by saying I absolutely think AP has not only been a valued member of the Bears organization, but has also been a class act of the first order. I don't...

Sean Smith or Rashad Johnson?

If the Bears select a safety, should it be Sean Smith or Rashad Johnson?

New Football Outsiders Mock Draft w/ Trades

Football Outsiders There is good and bad in this mock draft. The Good: Has us trading down with NYG for the 29th and the 60th.(One of my preferred moves) The Bad: Has Britton taken the pick...

Making the case - Eben Britton and Duke Robinson on the 1st Day

So, a decent majority of the people that have posted their draft thoughts have come down soundly at one point or another on drafting a WR in the first round, myself included. Those reasons are...

John St.Clair - Keep him or dump him?

I think it's pretty much universal that Bears fans know that their line needs help. Our starting LT going into this season is essentially a rookie. Our PB center has seen better days and is in...
