Where did Vic find that QB tree? We need to plant another one fast! I love Vic's perspective on the Jags in today's column.

Your loyalty to David Garrard is almost sickening. When will the so-called experts realize he is a bust like Leftwich? After the team leaves town because no one comes to the games because it's another crappy year?
Vic: I took a walk out back to the quarterback tree, to pick a new one, but the tree was empty. I think you’re forgetting that I wanted to draft Brady Quinn and I wanted to draft Chad Henne. It’s not as though I said don’t address the position, it’s fine the way it is. Quarterback is far too important not to have drafted one since 2003. You’re not going to hit on them all, so you have to keep drafting them. That’s the nature of the position. It is what it is now, however, and the position can’t be addressed again until next spring. If you wanna spend all season whining and crying, go ahead, but I won’t.
With the fourth pick of the 2010 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select Eric Berry, Safety, University of Tennessee.
Arguably the best player in the entire draft, Eric Berry is the total package, and silenced the critics with his showing at the Combine.
Berry is very physical, aggressive, intelligent, and has outstanding character. He can blitz like a LB and cover like a ball-hawking CB, and being coached by Monte Kiffin only made Berry more NFL-ready.
Simply put, Eric Berry is as close to a sure thing as it gets in the draft - he will start from Day 1 and make a Troy Polamalu/Bob Sanders-type impact on his team.
BEWARE: JOB POSTING ON HOME PAGE IS LIKELY A SCAM!
What's up, Big Cat Country! I saw this 'We Are Hiring' heading last night, and read the article and did a little digging this morning. According to several articles, these "opportunities" are nothing but a scam, where you order the kit by paying a small fee but end up paying more and more before you make any money.
Here is one of the articles that warn to avoid these types of companies:

JAG's M.O. Just A Guy's Modest Opinion...
Looking back at this weekend's NFL Draft, it is clear the Jaguars under new GM Gene Smith put into action his new method of operation, or modus operandi (for all you Latin scholars), of "refocusing" the team through the draft.
Every Joe Blow with an opinion and time on his hands will attempt to grade how the teams fared this weekend, and so I said to myself this morning, "Why not me?" Now I must admit that I think Vic put it best, unless you are clairvoyant there's no way anyone can truly judge how well a team filled its "needs" this upcoming season or how successful the drafted players will be. But since I was out all weekend and couldn't blog with you guys (reading back over everything, looked like you guys had crazy fun!), here's my take...
In last year's draft I felt we got the 2 best DEs possible with our 1st & 2nd rd picks, but I also couldn't help but think, "I wish we could have done this without giving away so many picks!" This year I feel we got 2 of the best LTs with our first 2 picks, without having to trade up and give away our future. And we know how important our O-line is to our success (and how bad we were when the injury bug got hungry). So that in my mind gives our draft at least a "B" since we are set at both tackle spots "for the next decade" as Jack put it.
If we fans truly believe that Gene went BAP leading up to rd 3, we must stick to that belief with the 'controversial' 3rd round picks of Terrance Knighton and Derek Cox. Jack said that he thought Knighton would be gone at the bottom of the 2nd round, and that Cox is a 2nd round talent, so if the Jaguars have been scouting these guys for "four years" then we should trust their assessment of these guys. If these two guys can come in and at least compete for starting jobs, we're in good shape. And Jack feels Cox is good enough to start now, which says a lot because most times draft picks don't come in and immediately start, even the 1st rounders.
Now I have heard it said that maybe the Jags should have just drafted Cox with the 3rd rd pick we had, or waited until the 4th round and possibly gotten him there. Well if we had done either of those, then we would either not have drafted any DTs or missed out on a steal in Mike Thomas. Enough said.
Speaking of Thomas, he and Jarett Dillard were so productive in college, both of them have superstar written all over them - I believe both of them may even be more productive than Crabtree, who we passed on in the 1st rd. I won't go into their stats, you guys did an awesome job posting some great footage and numbers on both of them. I think it's amazing that almost all of the Jags 2009 WRs will be wearing the teal jerseys for the first time! The position was upgraded without question.
Top to bottom, I give this draft an "A" because not only do I think it is a real possibility that every player drafted by the Jags will either start or see significant playing time this year, but the Jags also found a way to address almost every position that was a significant problem last year.
