Hey BCC, the Army called my number again. I just arrived at my new post in Washington and my Company greeted me by giving me orders to Iraq. This will make it 3 times I have deployed. There goes the 09 season for me. I was hoping to make the Jag Seahawks game but no such luck. The worst part is that I have a 11 month old baby and I am going to miss a lot of her growing up. Not to mention my wife and 3 other kids. I need you guys at your best this year. I will be lucky to catch a highlight of the games this year. Cover the games good for me guys. I leave in August but I will check in with you every chance I get. Take care, this is a great site.

BCC MOCK DRAFT - With the ninth selection in the 2009 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select.......B.J. Raji

As much as we all dislike this guy’s attitude, there is no argument that he can play. The Packers are definitely weaker on defense than they are on offense. They allowed over 2100 yards rushing last season and only had 27 sacks. Aaron Kampman and B.J. Raji combined would be a very dominating duo. I would like to have taken one of the CB’s here because of the age of Al Harris and Charles Woodson but at this point Radji is the BAP. Sorry I am posting this again but I had way too many typos on the first.

The Jags have done so many odd things in the off season over the last few years that it is really starting to show. Just look back three years, why draft a TE in the 1st round? We didnt need him yet. 2 years ago we go for Justin Durant in the 2nd rd. He might turn out to be a good player but he did play for a Div 2 college so the odds that he will be great arent good. You dont waste that high of a pick on that. Then last year we trade all those picks for two DE's that as of yet are playing like crap. I know that they still need more time and possibly will not contribute until next year but still, was it worth it? Why did we sign Porter when there were better guys out there? Why have we not added some quality youth to the O-Line? Why why why. These are only a few of the issues that I see but there are more I could name. There are a few bright spots this year, Garrard and Jones, but thats about it. This new exciting defense is not so exciting. I dont think there is any other option. Its time for some coaches and GM's to go.

If last week was called a must win game then what do we call this weeks game? Is this a statement game were we send a message to the league that we are for real? If the Jaguars lose next week then we will be right back to the place we were before the Colts, facing a must win situation. That cannot happen. There are a lot of things troubling me about our team this year. It seems that the pass rush has finally arrived and the O-Line really stepped it up a notch last week, but what about the passing game. Everyone knows that we cant continue to win with just the run going. Where is Porter? When can we expect him back. Is it just me or has Reggie Williams taken a step back from last season where it looked like had improved. I love this team, and I for one will always support them. I just cant seem to shake off the uncertainty I feel about the team so far. What do all of you think?

Hey Jag Fans, I need advice on tickets. Im planning a trip down with my son to see the Bills game and Im not sure what tickets I should get. Im just a humble military guy so Im far from rich. Are the upper deck section 400 seats any good? I heard that section 121 was filled with some pretty lively folks so I thought that might be fun for my boy. Its his first game. Any suggestions would be great. Ill waiting on your responses.

Thanks.

This a great sight. This is my first day here and I am really impressed. I look forward to reading all of your posts. The ones that I have skimmed through so far have been really insightful. Some of the other boards you find on the internet are full of people wanting to argue with one another. I hope that this sight stays away from all that and just gets down to the business of talking Jag stuff.

Later Everybody
