Big Cat Country Zoltan meet the Packers version of...you

This article had me rolling.  Thought I'd share it, hope you all enjoy it.  I'm sure everyone knows "that guy" to which the article speaks on.  I'm guessing when the Jags go to the SuperBowl, Zoltan from Budapest will be the Jaguars version of "Gio".  WE ARE JAGUARS!!!!!!

Big Cat Country Yahoo's Jason Cole bashes Jag's attendence AGAIN

An excerpt from Cole's lastest article posted yesterday Dec. 14th.

" The Jacksonville Jaguars (and a number of their angry fans who email me whenever I rip the town for lacking the necessities to support an NFL team) continue to make a big deal of the fact that they have sold out all seven of their home games this season in time to lift the local blackout. Sounds good, but something doesn’t sit right with this situation. For Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders, any reasonable person would estimate that at least 20 percent of the seats were empty, making the claims of a sellout dubious to say the least. That doesn’t even account for the vast pockets of unsold club seats that don’t count toward the sellout number. The Jaguars have yet to explain the discrepancy. However, one reason to play up the attendance is that it helps maintain the value of the franchise whenever owner Wayne Weaver wants to sell it."

Here is a link to the article if you wanted to check it out yourselves

Big Cat Country Tailgate Questions for the Monday Night Game

Hello fellow Jags fans!  I picked up tickets for the upcoming Monday Night game and I was wondering where is the best place to tailgate at?  I want to go ahead and buy my parking passes, but I want to make sure I'm in a good spot, etc.  Does anybody know how early we can arrive at the parking lot?  Also I'm bringing my old Army roommate who is a Titans fan and I really want to put him in the thick of some great Jacksonville pre-game festivities.  Thanks for your help with this, GO JAGS!

Big Cat Country The Eraser

Greetings and Salutations fellow fans,

I'm new to this so bare with me while I become adjusted, wait for it.....there ADJUSTED.  I love this site, I've been a long time Jaguars.com reader but only recently discovered this website.  I think it's a cool way to interact with fans just as passionate about Jag football as myself.  I'm not quite sure what my postings will cover, but lets hope you like 'em.

Can anybody really blame David for audibling into a quick pass at the line when he sees 8 guys in the box on most plays?  I found it amazing that we were still running slants as our audible pass play, which was our signature pass play last year.  Remember,  how defenses sat on that route the all of last season because they knew that was the only real passing threat we posed.   Are there not any other hot routes to switch into if needed?  However, it sounds like we'll be seeing less audibles this week.  All in all I say give the rock to MJD,  early and often to set up those oh so sweet plays to MSW and Holt.

So will the play of Thomas this past week forever silence the critics of Monroe being in the starting lineup at LT?  Didn't Thomas give up a sack to KVB, his first of the season?  I know I was one of the guys early on, who wanted Thomas in the lineup because I was looking for instant results but we see where that gets us.  I think this rookie class has performed beyond expectations.  We're laying the groundwork for our future for the first time this in ages.  You know deep down you look at this group of Monroe, Britton, Knighton, Cox, M. Thomas, Dillard that you get the sense of better things to come.

Basically we don't have the players to compete at a high level.  Our offense is coming along, but we're still to raw that unit to carry the team.  The defense...well the defense makes me sad....very sad.  The once proud unit got old and broken right underneath our noses.  It's going to take a couple of drafts to bring us back to where we once were, if we can every get there again.  Does anybody else feel that Russell and Nelson should have a fight to the death to determine who should remain on the team?  I started laughing when I read that they used to call Nelson "The Eraser"  at Florida.  "The Eraser", really?  If he's "The Eraser" then all our opponents must be writing with ink.
