As a fan, today is not a day of nervousness.  Today is a day to bathe in the golden glory that is beating the IDIOTS in their DOME.  Today is also a day of musical celebration.  Unlike other lesser known SB Nation Blogs, you won't find any Jay-Z pumped here and Eminem only appears on game day.  Today, I am bringing the Fifth Ward of Houston.

I am on an avid believer that alternate colored uniforms are the biggest jinx on a team there is.  How many times has Notre Dame gotten their ASS HANDED TO THEM wearing those green jerseys.  Georgetown, more often than not (we won versus Washington, this year) lays a huge egg when we wear black.  This goes all the way back to the first time we wore black against Maryland when Joe Smith and Co. worked us at the USAIr Arena the day after Thanksgiving in 1993.  Well, LORD NIKE has spoken - GEORGETOWN IS WEARING SILVER UNIFORMS! ON SATURDAY!!!

I might as well not even come down for this game.  This is a guaranteed loss.  I really hate NIKE.  We aren't the stupid Oregon Ducks.  It sucks that we have to wear the brand of the guy that put a dagger through our heart back in the day, but now we are pawns in his stupid marketing game?!?!?  Leave that shit for CAROLINA, MIKE!  I hope Michael Jordan gets drunk in a casino and goes home with some sort of She-Wolf that has razorblades for teeth.  I also hope those teeth have a very thick coat AIDS mixed with Leprosy on them.  I then hope she robs him blind in the morning and a broke Michael Jordan has to spend the remainder of his days living in a Leper Colony!!!

While this story would have been MUCH better if there was an interpretation angle, I find myself wondering where he got his idea for the story.

btw, the ncaa got a bailout of their own with Mich. State making it to the final game.  The number of empty seats would have probably been really visable.  I HATE that the final four is always in a stupid dome/football arena.  I was in Atlanta 2 years ago and it was HORRIBLE!

ok, so now I am forced to watch uconn practice while waiting.  Great reminder that we beat half of the final four.  Is it too early to start drinking?

I was driving in Stamford, CT last weekend and saw one of those annoying snickers ads that uses the snickers label and makes a play on words using it.  The way this one played out???
