I am glad to say I've seen the greatest team of my lifetime...
As Tim Tebow and the Florida Gator's approach a level of piety, one cannot help but wonder if a journalism degree comes with Alzheimer's disease. Just four short years ago, ESPN, as well as almost every sports writer in the country, was ready to crown the USC Trojans as the greatest college football team of all-time. For those who did not get a chance to view the year long USC coronation, the Trojans ended up with two Heisman trophy winners and an entire country's love. Well, at least for a short period of time. As with the tradition of American football, even the great teams have to earn a title. Unfortunately for the USC Trojans, the year they were crowned the greatest team of all time was the same year that Vince Young and the Texas Longhorns were making their own claim on history, and for the first time in BCS history, the nation would be able to witness a game that would crown a true national champion. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this video is worth a lifetime. Enjoy...
Bud Adams' Gesture to the VY Haters
Ok, I know the bird was probably aimed at the Bills, but it would have been a lot cooler if it was aimed at the people who doubt VY.
Commentary on the "Goon Squad"
Personally, I want negative connotations associated with my defense AND their name.
I know it bags us...but pretty funny video none the less
Greatness
Just in case you haven't seen this...it is a GREAT video montage of the greatest college football team of all time.

Not bad for a 3rd rounder
Age-old debate
DISCLAIMER - I lived in Austin for the first 18 years of my life; received my bachelors degree from small state school; am enrolling in a graduate program at a private university in the fall.
For early part of my twenties, I would constantly receive grief for cheering on my favorite football team, the Texas Longhorns. Reason being, I did not attend the university. I was an undergrad at a small state school with a division 1-AA football program. My rebuttal would always be, "I lived in Austin for the first 18 years of my life, and being a Longhorn fan was ingrained in me during my earliest years of childhood." Sometimes that would fly, and sometimes it wouldn't. Now, I am about to enroll in a graduate program at a private university that does have a division 1 football program, and I am very torn.
My problem is actually two-fold. First, who can legitimately be a Longhorn fan? Two, does my allegiance have to switch now that I am enrolling in a school with a division 1 athletic program?
I am bringing this up because I know that not everyone who participates on this website is a graduate of the University of Texas. I also know that there are droves of fans who never graduated from the program or ever intend to.
Thoughts? Ideas?
Another Reason to hate OU
Anyone on campus see this? What a freaking joke.....

unoriginal bastards. Eat $h!t...eat my $h!t.
500...that''s the number of street fights I figured it would take to become a legitimate tough guy. So, I got started.
I'm running out of quotes...please be long enough now. Please.
