Listening to Stan & Guy, reading posts here and other message boards, everyone is whining about wingers.  I think everyone needs to calm down and think about the following.

2009-10 - Finished 5th with 3.04 goals/game - dissapointing playoffs... 

2008-09 - Finished 6th with 3.17 goals/game - Stanely cup win

2007-08 - Finished 7th with 2.93 goals.game - Stanley cup finals

All done with the same run of the mill, borderline crappy wingers.  Of course Sid and Malkin would benefit from superior wingers but with the addition of 2 very good defenders we should, cross your fingers, give up less goals.  That means we obviously don't have to score as many goals, which we are pretty good at anyway contrary to some peoples thoughts.  Just my thoughts on the situation, because we're clearly not getting any expensive wingers this year or for years to come, unless we make some major trades, so we might as well just let it go...

I understand the premise of the must win game, when you are down 2-0 or 3-0 then the next game obviosuly is must win.  But where in the history of the playoffs in any sport has there been a game when someone said, eh we don't really need this game, it's not really a must win.  You have 7 games to play every game is important how isn't every game must win. Even if you are up 3-0, game 4 is a must win, it's a must win if you want to win the series, without that 4th win you don't win.  This just dosen't make sense to me, does anyone else agree that this is a ridiculous statement.
