Von Miller to wear #58
While it may hurt to see it on a Bronco's jersey, I gotta respect and appreciate his admiration of Derrick Thomas.
Derrick Thomas gets hosed once again
So the NFL has completed it's airing of the Top 100 NFL players of all time. There appears to have been one glaring omission on their part. With three Chiefs being listed (Tony Gonzalez at 45, Willie Lanier at 53 and Bobby Bell at 69) they seem to have forgotten at least one. That's right, no Derrick Thomas. I have always held him as being one of, if not the greatest, Chief to ever play. While I won't argue the placement of the others on the list, there is no way I would list Thomas lower than Gonzalez. I can't think of any other player that I would list as a bigger omission than Thomas not being in the Top 100 all time players.
Ranking the AFC West Running Backs
Bill Williamson has put up his ratings of RB's in the AFC West over at espn.com. Of course Charles ranking isn't that much of a surprise and we know Jones can carry the ball. However, it really emphasizes how dangerous our rushing attack will be next year, especially when McCluster joins them both on the field.

Chargers fans, you have impressed me.
Sure, we all like to hate on the fans of other teams, especially division rivals. It's part of what makes the game fun. My best friend is a Bronco's fan and we love to talk football with each other. I will admit that loudmouth fans can get irritating, but what I hate even more is blatant abuse of power. At the Jets - Chargers game a Jets fan was handcuffed and removed, apparently for cheering on his team. Now this story would sound about as true as hearing that Todd Haley was flipping off fans, except they got the whole event on video.
What I find most impressive about this video is the multiple Chargers fans standing up for the guy. One being quite vocal to the police about their abuse of power, others who appear to be giving the mans wife/girlfriend contact information as witnesses.
While I may revel in the Chargers loss, I do have to admire those Charger fans who were willing to stand up for a Jets fan when they saw the police acting without cause. I do have to question the policies on determining when to remove a fan, especially when the fans around him were telling the police he hadn't done anything wrong.
So would this guy have gotten thrown out of the game if he had been at Giants Stadium?
