42 Days and 10 Hours until the dreaded trade deadline is reached. As the minutes pass to hours- hours to days, what moves if any do you see the Angels making. Do we land one more starting pitcher? Do we bolster up our anemic bullpen? Are we buyers? Are we sellers? Is Reagins the ninja we all thought he was, or is Arte going to pull the reigns back a little? Lets talk about what moves they make to better the team this year and the moves they make to better the team next year.

Would Tom Glavin be a good fit for the Angels... Bullpen?

Glavin just got the boot from Atlanta. I know he isn't anywhere near his prime. But would he be a good fit pitching for the good guys out of the pen? We are in desperate need of bullpen relief. Using Glavin in an occasional spot start and come in for mop up roles or just long relief could certainly benefit us. Not to mention his presence could help benefit some of our youngsters.

Who owns the MLB territorial rights to Sin City? This might be a dumb question, but could Arte...

Who owns the MLB territorial rights to Sin City? This might be a dumb question, but could Arte syndicate Angel programing in another market. I mean I know Arte's broadcasting the Angels in the O.C. and in L.A. But what about Las Vegas, Salt Lake, Tempe, or even south of the boarder Rosarito or Tiajuana.

Just thinking there might be more revenue generators out there for our favorite franchise.

Manny Ramirez is just one of many baseball players to test positive for a banned substance that will leave the Dodger suspended for 50 games. The over whelming response by the media is to hang the guy out to dry, for being a cheater.

How will the Dodger fans react come July 3rd? If Man-Ram doesn't miss a step will he still be reveired? Or are the Mannywood signs as gone as fast as the Wallyworld Posters when Joyner went to Kansas City.

Also, playing the devil's advocate, what would happen had this happen to us? What if Vladimir Guerrero came up dirty on a drug test? Or Mike Napoli? Let me paraphrase our beloved owner Arte Moreno when he said something along the lines of "Its a crime that Manny will be able to come back to the Dodgers this year." Even going so far to say a player who fails a test for banned substances should be suspended indefinately. Bare in mind our Million Dollar Utility Outfielder, Gary Matthews Jr. was linked to the HGH scandal, only months after signing a bloated contract with the Angels.

What are your thoughts?

Angels General Manager Tony Reagins acknowledged today that he is looking outside the organization for pitching help and has contacted the representatives for free-agent starters such as Pedro Martinez, Paul Byrd and Mark Mulder.

If we're contacting guys who are at least 3-4 weeks away from being MLB ready, is it safe to say that the injuries to Escobar, Santana, and Lackey are a little more serious that we were led to believe. I like the idea of a trade for talent today, but it might be safe to sign at least one of these available free agents, just so we aren't caught with our pants down.

Of course, they’ve struggled since losing Adenhart. The only shock would be if they didn’t! It’s not an excuse or a cop out. It’s a fact! I don’t care who you are, or what field you’re in or how badly you want it…you don’t go through that and not have it effect you.

I know this tragedy has affected our team, maybe even more than we are willing to admit. But before we go all chicken little on our bullpen, our offense, or our team in general... realize that our entire team is hurt. They aren't all on the DL, but certainly everyone has a part of the heart missing. And for the detractors of our bullpen, remember that Adenhart was a team member for most of those guys through out the Angels Farm System.
