Corey Maggette = X-Factor

Over this last season we all [Warrior Fans] saw that Corey Maggette played a lot better as a 6th Man for our team. Also he showed us all that he is able to draw a foul almost all the time. He is strong, Pretty decent perimeter game [ but i think he should stick to just driving], decent passer [ SIKE! ], and is faster than he may seem. But I think he could improve his Defense [ like the whole team ] and his decison making.

Okay well this is the stats he put up this season...

MPG: 31.1

PPG: 18.6

RPG: 5.5

APG: 1.6

FG%: 0.46

FT%: 0.82

Okay look Maggs is one of our main scorers, and take a look at his FT% it's pretty high and seeing as though he can draw fouls almost whenever he wants thats really going to help our team. 1. because it will equal more points. 2. Key players could become deep in foul trouble.

This next thing im going to say will sound to everyone very stupid, but before you think that take a second and just look and possibly realize how im right. Corey Maggette is just like a MiNi LeBron James. Of course James is much better, but they both share some of the same qualities. Things such as strength, both high-flyers, both have respectable mid range games, and can pretty much draw a foul when they want. Think about it on a fast break if Maggs is open and is ahead of you, you should definatly pass it up, and if he could develope his decision making skills over the offseason , and preseason, we could rely on him on the offensive end of the floor by just feeding him the ball when we need quick points. He could by far be one of the few very dominant players on our roster.

Could we have gotten Ariza?

Ariza in the past few seasons has been a very consistent player. He especially did excellent in the finals of both seasons. This is probably waste of a post because it seems as though he is going to Houston while Artest is going to LA.

The reason for me posting this is because I kind of just wanted to see if people [like me] would have been glad to sign Ariza. He is very athletic, a hard worker, and get this he can play DEFENSE! I know that we probably don't need a SF atm because Jack might start at SFagain because we picked up Step Curry and Maggs has been doing great as a 6th man. But if we are trying to make Curry into a PG I think picking up Ariza would have been helpful.

Our Line up would look something like...

PG: Monta, Curry, CJ Watts

SG: Capt. Jack, Morrow, Belinelli

SF: Ariza or KaZ , Maggs

PF: Randolph, Wright, Davidson, (Rob Kurz...WHO!?!?! only in spirit haha)

C: Biens, Turiaf

Oh and it never hurts to have more players that could do this...

well i would probably try to go in-depth with all my reasons for wanting Ariza, but seeing as thought he is very likley going to the rockets Im Done.

Ok well in the past few weeks I have been posting ridiculous things about trading for Lebron and Chauncy, but today I feel like being completely serious. I know theres a lot of talk about who we are going to draft. People like Brandon Jennings, Holiday, Derozan, and the Possible Rubio if nobody takes him first (It would be soo cool to have Zac Effron the team) . But the person I have in mind is Patrick Mills.

This Year Before his injury Mills who is 6'1 180 lbs. had (AVG.):

Played: 33.3 Mins.

PPG: 18.4

Ast: 3.9

Stl: 2.2

FG: .40

3pt: .38

Ok well i know he is not like the Super Draft Prospect of the Year but this boy is a phenominal player. Hes not the best point but im pretty sure once he gets into a NBA training camp he would really develop. Seeing that nowadayz warrior fans are willing to trade Monta I feel like Patty Mills can fill the PG spot for the Dubs. Hes a pretty fast player he could improve his handles, great mid range and drives, and a respectable 3pt game.

I watched about 10 St Mary's games this year and he really look like a nba bound player. He really knew how to lead his team, and he had great chesmistry with the team and the coaches. Also last year while watching the Olympics I saw the U.S. take the gold [Unstoppable BABY!], Ricky Rubio [Troy Bolton], and Patrick Mills. He was doing great. Even though he wasnt able to lead his team to the top 3 [he could use some better team mates] he showed that he had a good basketball IQ and was able to prove to everyone that he could compete with the best players in the world. And in the sports section of the Argus he said that he doesnt mind if he is pick first or second round and that he feels like he could base his game off Tony Parker [i can kind of see it] and Gilber Arena [ Injuries included LOL]. With that kind of confidence i think that he could turn out to be a great NBA point and leader.

Build off Lebron's frustration.

After watching the game last night I could easily see how frustrated Lebron was. And I remeber all the old hype about Lebron thinking about leaving the Cavs. well today i was watching SportsCenter and everyone was blowing up the fact that Lebron could possibly be leaving the Cavs, and about how he is really showing little to no sportsman ship.

Well seeing that he might want a new team i thougt it would be fun to make this. I dont think its really possible but its always good to dream that there is still a chance. Check this out:

Well is this trade ever came true i can kinda of see it as benifical to both teams.

For the Cavs...

PG: Mo Wills

SG: Monta Ellis (Hes still a great players but not so great with Mopeds)

SF: Corey Maggette ( Great off the bench but he could do great starting)

PF: Blah

C: Blah

Overall..

Good: This Trade could help the Cavs kinda because when i watch them most of the time it seems like the whole team depends on Lebron. I know this seems stupid but with Lebron Gone this forces the rest of the team to step up. Mo Williams is a great player and can still grow to be a evern better player than he already is. Monta also has tons of growing room and i know that he slipped this season but next season i think hes promising. He is still very fast, hes still good at taking it in, respectable mid-range game, and was it just me or the games he actually played this season he was draining 3sss?? And the Maggette factor. Yeah is kinda is a ball hog, but he can make plays for others players, and he is great at driving and getting fouled while doign it. And he is also able to make players draw offensive fouls. I still think maggette is a great player the only thing that really sucks is his contract.and i know its not just me but every time a player leaves the warriors they get better...

Bad: NO MORE LEBRON! NO MORE KING! but other than that i can see positive things for this club.

Now the Warriors.

PG:Draft Pick, Marco Belinelli, CJ Watson (if we still have him)

SG:Captain Jack,Marco Belinelli, Anthony Morrow

SF: Lebron James,Kelenna Azubuike

PF: Anthony Randolph, Brandan Wright

JJ Hicks can replace Rob Kurz on the bench =]

Overall..

Good: We have Lebron. I think Lebron would fit great because we are a high scoring and fast paced team. Well then again Lebron would help any team. And Lebron does have good help. Our Bigs are pretty fast, and can get blocks. the only real problem is we cant really get a lot of rebounds. But the thing is that lebron is not just an offensive presence he is a deffensive one too. PlayOffs anyone?

Bad: None Really.. My only concern is that the warriors might become Lebron based, and a lot of the other players wont get as much attention. And it seems that sionce the Warriors dont really have like one true star we are able to see almost everyone develope into great players. People like Buike, Randolph, Marrow, CJ, Belinelli, basically the whole team.

This whole this is pretty unlikely because Lebron is looking for a high caliber championship team.

Off Season Trades..

I think that the dubs should make trade proposals to the Nuggets and the Bobcats. We trade Maggs, and Bwright (which makes it hard to see that they would accept) for Gerald wallace. Also Monta and Davidson for Chauncy.

I think there is a possiblilty that the Bobcats would take Mages and BWright because i can see BWright really helping them out as a back up to Diaw or even Okafor because Wright is tall and has long arms and he can easilyget rebounds and i think that he would fit perfectly with a pretty slow paced team. Also for the Dubs i can see Gerald Wallace as a great fit because one he is not a ball hog, he is super athletic (and undertrated), he can take it in and has a respectable mid ranged game, with the ability to make the occasional 3 point shot. Also would really help our Defense.

And this is the hard one. I kind of see this as a fantasy trade because i know for a fact that Denver really doesnt want another AI on their team. In my oppinion Chauncy is one of the Elite "true Points" out there and Monta is just a guy that wants to score, and isnt really great at making assitis. Dont get me wrong i love monta but i owuld soo be willing to trade him for Billups, Rose, or Even Rondo, but i really dont think that those teams would want or even need monta. Honestly Chauncy is great he could help be a leader to the team right next to Jax, and very great at driving and makign plays for other players, and he is pretty deadly from the 3point line. I thinke he would really help us out. This will obviously never happen, but its nice to dream. Right?
