Blueshirt Banter HEART

I have watched the postings on here for a long time and I thought I would weigh in on the bad rap that New York fans get and the disconnect between the fans and the team.  New York fans respect one thing: HEART.  All we want from our teams is to go out and give it their all and leave everything out on the field.  If you look at some of the greatest New York heroes they weren't exactly the best players always but they left their heart and soul on the field.  Derek Jeter, one of the greatest yankees of all time doesn't have too many stats but he has a huge heart.  Adam Graves a beloved Ranger, but didn't play for the Rangers that long and had a few good years but with all he did for charities and sticking up for his teammates his Jersey hangs in the rafters.  Part of the problem the Rangers have is they have a disconnect with their fans.  Do you ever see Glenn Sather at the game???  Where is the person sticking up for Gaborik?  Can Redden at least pretend that he cares?  Rosival too just once I would like to see someone show some emotion.  They have hamstrung Avery who is clearly a fan favorite and he has gotten away from what he does well.  I guess the point I am trying to bring out is it would be nice if some of the current Rangers show a little fire and realize while we do care about winning and losing we just want our players to show they care, and show a little heart.  Winning will take care of itself.

Thoughts???
