I have to say Center was the biggest concern as it was a rovolving door of mediocrity at best.

THat's not what his coaches said about him. He's fine in space and can get to the second level effectively but I agree. He was drafted for center

Saturday was an undrafted FA that was a pretty average run blocker. But he was smart, pass blocked and the players respected him as their union rep so they voted for him every year.

Half these guys would have been happy to draft Lacy with no place to run and can't run outside in the NFL. I do seem to recall the clammor for deCastro at mid teens and he lasted till the mid 20's. Freddy will be the nest Olineman of the first.

How do you guys think they'll be talking about him when he's handling 3-4 DT's and pulling around the end and picking up blocks in open space? Well, he does that stuff.

Gil Brandt who knows a little bit about Olines had Frederick a first rounder and going at 26. So calling it a bad pick for getting what amounts to the top pick of the second is fine with me.

Seahawks, Indy and Atlanta would have taken him in the second. Boys did well. They took what unfolded, didn't panick and moved down to take a starter and quite possibly a probowl center in two ro three years.

If it were a JJ pick he would have taken Lacy who would have had no place to run up the middle and sure as hell can't run outside the tackles in the NFL.

We needed interior more than anything. We saw last year how everything breaks apart when the middle of the line is soft. Well, we're a big step closer to solid now. Hoping for another 1 or two Oline picks

This is wrong. He can move and pulled and locked on in open space for WI. Zone blocking reuires ability to move around.

I know his parents and his H.S. coach. Russell Wilson wanted Seattle to move up in the draft to take him. He told Carroll Frederick would be their best Olineman from day 1.

They like their safeties and Travis was the best Center in the draft. He's also vesitile and can play guard. I think they knew they need two interior and a rplacement for Free.

Travis is the starting Center I believe the Boys are going to go get another starting guard and maybe a tackle in FA if none fall.

You also have to consider his value to the line. He can walk in Day one and start at center or guard.

Not a reach. He would have been gone by the early second round. Mayock is dead wrong about him being a third. He'll be starting Day 1 and for the next 5-10 years.
