CEO of CelticsBlog.com

A child of the 80's dominance and a devoted fan through the rebuilding years that followed. I started CelticsBlog way back in 2004 (there were few NBA blogs back then) and have enjoyed watching the community grow each and every year - through good times and bad.

Blogger High Five - What made you start blogging?

I thought I'd take my High Five interview series to the bloggers this week. I asked a number of folks 5 questions about blogging and the Celtics and gathered up their answers here.

Sullinger has great value

Is he a building block or a trade chip?

Visual representation of Celtics lottery odds

This is the best thing I've seen that really cements how likely it is that we get each of the picks. (Via Celtics.com)

Rajon Rondo's lost season

If a point guard gets an assist and nobody cares, does it count in the box score?

Exit Interviews

We've got some time before the draft lottery, so we're going to look back at the season that was - player by player.

How to use CelticsBlog

A brief tutorial on the many options of interacting with the blog.

Who's in better position, C's or 76ers?

Open ended discussion question.

Stevens challenges Sullinger on conditioning

First get in shape, then the rest will come.

Who is Most Likely To Succeed?

Future so bright, he's gotta wear shades.

What would you give up to get Kevin Love?

There's no certainty that the Wolves will listen to offers, but if they ever do, expect the Celtics to be in the bidding.

CelticsBlog High Five with Jay King of MassLive

I've known Jay for several years and I've admired his work ethic and skill as a writer. This year he made the leap from blogging to covering the Celtics full time so I thought he'd have some interesting insights (and he didn't disappoint).

What was your biggest frustration this year?

Not all memories are fond ones. Especially not this year. Our staff shares some of our frustrations from the year.

Celtics play-by-play legend Mike Gorman joins us for our latest High Five.

What was your favorite moment of the season?

The past season was long and hard to endure sometimes, but there were moments that made it all worth it. Here are a few that the staff picked out.

Who are you rooting for in the NBA playoffs?

I mean, other than Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.

What is plan C?

There are many forks left in the road ahead and the best route to the destination has yet to be fully mapped out. It is going to be a very interesting summer, no matter what happens.

Who was the Celtics 6th man?

Best bench player (less than 40 starts)

Who was the Celtics' defensive player of the year?

Here's a look at who our panel thought was the best defender this year.

Translating Danny Ainge's GM-speak

Reading between the lies, ...I mean lines.

Celtics finish tied for 4th worst record

I'd like to personally thank the Utah Jazz for fighting through two overtime periods to pull out a victory on the last night of the season and allow the Celtics to have a share in the 4th worst record.

Who is the Celtics' Rookie of the Year?

Kelly Olynyk, Phil Pressey, Vitor Faverani, Chris Johnson and Chris Babb. That's a lot of rookies on one team but that comes with the territory on a rebuilding team.

Who is the Celtics' Most Improved Player?

Who showed the Celtics and the rest of the league the most development this year?

Who is the Celtics' Least Valuable Player?

This is inherently mean but when you lose 3 games to a tanking 76ers team, I think it is warranted.

Who's the Celtics' MVP?

The season is winding down and we figured that now was as good a time as any to start handing out season awards.

How good is the draft class of 2015?

At least one scout is pretty high on the freshman entering the college ranks this year (probably for a one-and-done season).

Wyc wants fireworks, but can't promise that

The quick turnaround would be preferable, but if nothing turns up, it could be a slow go of it.

You can make a difference as a fan

Boston fans rock. So says the players that you are cheering on.
