I don't see any other posts related to this, so I thought it might be worth posting here.

The guy that used to play Tuba outside Mariners and Sonics games was assaulted and murdered.

I remember this guy playing the "Entertainment Tonight" theme outside M's games. It just scored off the chart in the comedy scale.

This is a nice article with some interesting background on him. It is also a rather sober reminder that the city is not the place it used to be.

Just a horrible, horrible story......

Not much to say on this other than I thought this was a really nice story and I did not see it linked anywhere on LL. I like the story about her pounding the guy with the handbag. I also enjoyed the fact that she was heading down to Cactus League Games before it was cool. People may not realize this, but back in the day Spring Training Games were practically free and you could basically hang out with the players and talk to them. I lived in Tuscon when I was a kid and we used to go watch the Indians (back when they were in AZ the first time)
