Honestly getting Schweinsteiger now would be that changing room presence Jose wants from Drogba

Heck yeah he was. The man just epitomes never giving up today.
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 14 2014, 2:47a - 1 reply
Well through my German-tinted lens, I saw a man who was repeatedly getting hacked at the legs, elbowed in the face, slammed in the back, busting his behind for 120 minutes...
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 14 2014, 1:26a - 1 reply
This was great and also it helps me catch up on old posts that I missed throughout this past season

Great to see the Germans showing some love to Reus...and cover up something that has the word FIFA on it :)
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 11:41p
I did. I was a little bit excited when I saw Italy knocked out for two reasons...
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 11:29p
Are you sure those sources are correct?
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 11:21p - 1 reply
I guess...but can we first let Pep join a different club like Barca?
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 11:15p - 1 reply
I would rather avoid the Bayern vs. Chelsea final again. I'm big Bayern fan but I love Chelsea a tad bit more because this club will always be my first love
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 11:02p - 1 reply
Well I can tell you that Schurrle has been gaining traction in German media because of this tournament.
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 10:58p
Haha yeah I didn't really read that comment more carefully...I was still in full celebration mode when I read that comment
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 10:54p - 1 reply
I honestly believe James Rodriguez should have received both the Golden Boot and Ball for this tournament.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 10:16p
Did someone say Javi Martinez?
Commented on Report: Filipe Luis transfer agreed at €20m, and it might even prove to be true this time! on Jul 13 2014, 10:10p
Not to mention he pretty much was tasked with man-marking Messi the entire second half while still being tasked with dictating the pace of the match from the midfield

Lahm Schweini, and Jogi celebrating the German way.

What a roar....I really miss him. He needs to come back to Chelsea as some sort of coach or something....
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 8:38p - 1 reply
Yeah Ozil is getting a ton of criticism from German media, it's not just here where he's getting criticized
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 8:36p
NEVER DOUBT THE HOFF!

Old enough to be a motherfreaking boss.
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 7:17p - 1 reply
Well Khedira was that defensive anchor that masked Ozil lack of defensive qualities

Boom: Mourinho DNA

Worth it. I'm a member and I enjoy all the other little programs they have.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 7:01p
Kroos would be viable in the AMC as well but we'll have to see what happens. I know Ozil isn't everyone's favorite on here because of his Arsenal ties
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 6:59p
Haha Schurrle just mentioned in an post-match interview that he didn't know where he was when Gotze scored the goal because he was starting to track back and defend
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 6:57p - 2 replies
Kramer is promising and would be an interesting buy based on promise alone, but I would rather pursue more polished midfielders right now.
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 6:55p
You don't need to start to make an impact. Honestly, I think him as a super sub this tournament was perfect.
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 6:53p - 1 reply
Perfect comparison. The man is a WC goal scoring machine.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:50p
Also, I think the German attacking third would still look like...
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 6:43p - 1 reply
Naw dawg, it's all about Super Sub. Hit 'em hard when they're tired.
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 6:41p - 1 reply
Lahm was literally everywhere and every time he touched the ball he made something happen.
Commented on Andre Schurrle, Champion of the World on Jul 13 2014, 6:39p - 1 reply
STUD MUFFIN XGAZBILLION. SO HAPPY WE HAVE A GERMAN ON OUR SQUAD AGAIN!

This is my favorite Klose moment.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:29p - 1 reply
Indeed. Watching him felt great as I missed those kind of goal poachers.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:21p - 1 reply
I felt so bad for Christoph...the guy was given the golden chance to play in a WC final and he just gets destroyed by a shoulder
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:19p
Well he did terrorize the English every time they played so I would imagine that would be worried that saying his name too much might make him pop up
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:18p
Michael Ballack name dropping SCHURRLE AND LOOK AT THAT BALLACK CELEBRATION
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:15p - 1 reply
This might be one of the few times I've seen Lahm yell........my goodness that's intimidating
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:14p
I would even put Neuer in the running. That guy was the perfect anchor for the German defense.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:12p
Especially Klose. That man is an underrated legend- pure class with everything he does.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:11p - 1 reply
I agree, I would think that's more of a manager issue that squad issue.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:06p
WHY NOT?!?!? MERKEL IS THE LADY!

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT......SINCE I STARTED CARING ABOUT SOCCER WHICH IS PRETTY MUCH WHEN I WAS BORN!
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:03p - 3 replies
Did you say fairly bad? I would say any squad with Higuain, Di Maria, Messi, Aguerro, Lavezzi is pretty rock solid
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:02p - 1 reply
One great goal against Iran
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:01p - 1 reply
Or Ochoa. This is definitely the World Cup of the Keepers.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:00p
Linesman did great today but (again, I'm a huge Germany fan so I have my bias) the field ref should have done more to control late aggression
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 6:00p
James Rodriguez FTW SON.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:58p
Yeah they were both pretty pissed about that goal. Neuer was yelling more at his back 4 while Schweini was pissed that Ozil didn't pressure whoever fed Oscar
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:57p
Next season, but Bayern's FO won't let him leave. Just look at Mueller...
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:56p
He would be the perfect replacement for Super Frank as another vocal leader of the squad.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:54p - 1 reply
HE'S MORE FOCUSED ON THAT BEAUTIFUL GOLD STATUE THAT I'VE WAITED 4 FREAKING YEARS FOR.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:53p - 1 reply
YOU DON'T BECOME THE ENGINE FOR BOTH BAYERN AND GERMANY FOR NO REASON. [FUN] XAVI.
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:52p
Also factor in the fact that Low challenged him to man-mark Messi for the entire second half....that man deserves his Germany Leend status
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:51p - 1 reply
YEAH DID HE BLEED? NO. GAME ON MOTHER-CHUCKERS!
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:50p
What was weird was that the Germans decided to attack the right flank until that goal when they decided to Schurrle run riot...he was open a lot on the left flank
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:49p
That is creepy yet.....IF THAT MEANS EVERYONE X3 LET'S DO IT!
Commented on Son of Hilario(?): Germany vs. Argentina, Second Half on Jul 13 2014, 5:48p
Schweini- strike him down and he shall become more powerful than you can ever imagine....
