California Golden Blogs T-shirts for Cal vs. U$C - "See Ball, Get Ball"

OK, I made a few different versions. I thought long and hard about it. It's very important to me to tell all the quiet people sitting behind me to make some noise, so that goes on the back. I plan to be a total nutcase at the $C game about firing people up and getting loud.

It's very hard to settle on a design. I like lots of the elements, and some of them serve different purposes. It's all a compromise.

Oh well, as long it has See Ball Get Ball on it, I think it will kick ass.

Check out 4 options and then speak up.

Here is the original:

Here's another version - notably simplified:

Version III - definitely getting cleaner:

Version 4: Same front as 3 - Simple Back

I'm leaning towards 4 myself.

OK, so if I order them on Friday I can get them for the U$C game. If I sense enough enthusiasm, I'll do it!!!!

I think I'll order at least 8, and use 4 of them among my friends, and sell the rest  to anyone who wants one for $10 (at a loss, b/c I love you guys). If you make a good hardship case, I'll probably give it to you for free. I'm not looking to make a profit - I want to beat $C!!!

Come to Section T, approximately 30 rows up, right against the student section, and look for some dorks wearing one of these. Come before the game starts, or at half-time, b/c otherwise I'll be too busy yelling to give you a shirt.

Now vote for the best design in the poll. If you actually want to come and get one, please say so in the comments -AND SAY WHAT YOU SIZE YOU WANT (S/M/L/XL), so I can get an idea for demand.

I am serious about this. Please vote ASAP.

California Golden Blogs Cal Defense: "See Ball, Get Ball."

Cameron Jordan was part of the Tuesday press conference:

CAMERON JORDAN:

On the attitude of the defensive line: "Our coaches have installed the no-loaf mentality, hustling after the ball. See ball, get ball — real basic."

---

I thought that phrase, "See ball, get ball", was just so awesome, so devoted to our love of getting a turnover from the Defense, so incredibly to the point (NAILED IT), that I want us to adopt it as a motto. (Not the only motto of course, but it just rocks.)

It's not that it sounds great chanted out loud, but I think it looks great in print.

In fact, it looks so great, I wanted to design a T-shirt around it. Fortunately, that's easy these days:

Maybe it's too busy, but I had fun.

I'm seriously considering printing up about 20 of them and wearing them in Section T.

We need to get louder on defense...maybe this will help. Who's with me?

Poll
Would you wear this T-shirt on gameday?
Yes - That is so NAILED IT, and I'll pay $20 for the honor.

Yes - But take out about half the junk on it, and I'll give you $10

California Golden Blogs OK, I don't know how to do this, but...

I attended my first ever Rugby Union match today, and I think I picked a good one.

Cal faced probably our best collegiate competition in North America today, and I'm happy to say we came out the winners. 31-15 Golden Bears!
