Wildcat? Oh you knew it was coming!!

Madden NFL 10 is an American football video game based on the National Football League that was published by EA Sports and developed by EA Tiburon. It is the 21st annual installment in the Madden NFL video game franchise. On-field authenticity and emotion is taken to another level in Madden NFL 10. With more control over the outcome of the play than ever before, players can drag defenders towards the first down marker, fight for a fumble at the bottom of the pile, and avoid the rush by stepping up into the pocket. Utilizing an all-new animation technology, Madden NFL 10 ensures that the Fight For Every Yard doesn't end until the whistle blows.Blah blah blah.. Lets get to the pictures Jersquall!! O.k. gosh..

Dolphins about to break HUGE NFL record.

Fins' turnaround already among best ever

December 8, 2008

Posted by ESPN.com's Tim Graham

At this point last season, the Miami Dolphins were 0-13. That's Detroit Lions territory. That's epic awfulness.

Now look at the Dolphins. They're in a three-way tie with the New York Jets and New England Patriots for the AFC East lead. The Dolphins control their own destiny and meet the Jets in the Dec. 28 season finale at the Meadowlands.

With Sunday's victory over the Buffalo Bills in the Rogers Centre, the Dolphins are 8-5 already giving them a plus-7 win differential from last year, when they became one of only eight teams to finish 1-15 since the NFL went to a 16-game schedule in 1978.

The Dolphins have three more opportunities to match and surpass the 1997 Jets and 1992 Indianapolis Colts, who pulled off plus-8 improvements. Thanks to ESPN researcher Russell Baxter for passing along the information for the chart.

No 1-15 club has reached the playoffs the following season.

The NFL record for the biggest win differential from one season belongs to the 1999 Colts, who won 13 games a year after they won three.Fins turnaround already among best ever. Check out the chart.

Matt Cassel better, Fins DB's need big game!

And here.. we......Go!

Matt Cassel didn’t play particularly well in the Patriots shocking 38-13 home loss to the Miami Dolphins in their first matchup. He threw an interception, lost a fumble and didn’t deliver any big pass plays to Randy Moss or any other receiver for that matter. He now has the Patriots at 6-4 and sunday he will once again face our Miami Dolphins but things are a little different.. If he see's an opening, Cassel will tuck the ball and run with it and his scrambling gaines positive yards for the Patriots.

I have also noticed when the pocket begins to collapse on Cassel instead of tucking and running, Cassel gently stepped forward, eyes still focused downfield, and deliverse to one of his intended receivers. Buying himself that extra time in the pocket is something he wasn’t necessarily doing with any consistency earlier this season. That being said, We need our cornerbacks and safetys to step up. Interceptions kill! They kill drive, momentum and most of all points! Hope for a huge game by our DB's because if not they will be on the Jugs machine that spits balls out to help players practice good catching form all next week. :)

What do you think will be key to our DB's shutting down Cassel to Wesker and Moss ?

It's NEVER to early here at Phinsider!!!

Especially when our Miami Dolphins play a roll.

This new team has an identity and it has a coach who trust's his players. A coach who cares about his players. The time of rebuilding is over. This team is built and has been revamped from the floor up. The Miami Dolphins organization is just that once again. Organized. The guys at yahoo sports agree. Here's the way they see it weeks ahead mind you..

In: Jets, Broncos, Dolphins, Packers
Out: Colts, Chargers, Ravens, Bears

AFC First Round Byes:

NFC First Round Byes:

Just thinking out loud..

The time is now..

No longer is this team a team that hangs it's head in shame. The days of uncertainty are behind us. This new team has an identity and it has a coach who trust's his players. A coach who cares about his players. The time of rebuilding is over. This team is built and has been revamped from the floor up. The Miami Dolphins organization is just that once again. Organized.

Dolphin players fight tooth and nail for every yard, every play. There are very few stars on this team this year but their time is coming.

No longer will this team be pushed aside for prime time viewing by the likes of Monday Night Football and Sunday night football. The powers that be will be force to take notice of The Miami Dolphins who are about to change peoples way of thinking. They are not that 1-15 team who vanished at the end of last season only to be recognized as the team who gets the number one draft choice a few months later. Those days are over. The time is now, Their time is now.

Lovin that Sapp..

And you think Joey Porter has a mouth on him. lol.

Sapp predicts Porter will abuse Raiders

November 14, 2008

Posted by ESPN.com's Tim Graham

Warren Sapp couldn't just predict a big game for Miami Dolphins outside linebacker Joey Porter against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday and leave it at that.

No, Sapp had to take his analysis to the extreme, as he's wont to do.

Sapp, a weekly guest on Miami radio station WQAM with former Dolphins tight end Jim Mandich, ragged on Raiders left tackle Kwame Harris.

"You can't give a team that is not on your level any life to play with you," Sapp said. "If the Dolphins come out, get Porter talking and going crazy ... Get on the quarterback because that left tackle couldn't block my little girl. I watched the tape. The guy couldn't block Mercedes Sapp. I promise you he couldn't. She takes him to the house."

Porter, or somebody on the Dolphins defense, better have a big game now.

"The Dolphins have to be ready to take their punch, make them miss, and then knock them out right then," Sapp said, "because once you get a team like that in your house and you punch them in the mouth and you knock them down, they'll quit. They'll quit because they know they are not as good as you, and they know they don't have a chance. So you can't give them life."

Is it time for a Rookie salary cap? Guaranteed moneys

I found an old article online about an interesting subject.. A rookie salary cap. I changed a few things to update it abit but it brings up a few good points.

-----------------------------------

Orlando Pace had seven Pro Bowl selections and six All-Pro selections. Walter Jones has eight Pro Bowl selections and seven All-Pro selections. Chris Samuels has five Pro Bowl selections.

They are among the elite players at their position. Who is the highest paid tackle in the NFL? Jake Long.

Who did Long overtake as the highest paid tackle in the NFL? Pace, Jones or Samuels?  Nope. It was Joe Thomas. Thomas made the Pro Bowl in his first year, but only after replacing Buffalo’s Jason Peters. When Thomas signed his deal following the 2007 NFL draft, he was the highest paid tackle in the NFL.

What do Long, Thomas, and Williams have in common? They all got paid a ton of money before doing anything in the NFL. Thomas seems to have worked out, but Williams was a bust.  Jake Long is holding his own and playing well.

Ex-NFLPA head honcho Gene Upshaw was opposed to a rookie salary cap of any kind. As it stands now, the NFL pays based on projected talent, not actual production. Try applying this system of compensation to any other industry, and the ridiculousness is evident.

Imagine a lawyer, fresh out of college, being paid more than the senior partners of a law firm, or a first-year teacher being better compensated than a tenured professor. You can’t because it doesn’t happen. Outside the NFL, even in other major professional sports like the NBA or NHL, it doesn’t happen.

Upshaw (Who died before the season began) cited the short career length of the average NFL player for keeping the existing system, but the logic fails when extended beyond the first round. As more and more guaranteed money gets allocated to the Cedric Benson’s of the NFL, the Marion Barber’s must produce far above their draft position to get their fair share.

Maybe the next union leader will recognize the insanity of eating up valuable cap space on untested boom-or-bust rookies over established veterans. Perhaps even the rank and file of the NFLPA will take a principled stand and establish a slotted compensation system..

-----------------

Guaranted money

Something else that bothers me.. Deangelo Hall 16 million in injury-guaranteed bonuses..

Ernest  Wilford has signed a four-year deal worth $13 million with a whopping $6 million signing bonus considering he has not started a game..

Jake Long our left tackle was signed to a five-year contract with $30 million guaranteed,

2 of the 3 have not worked out.

What do you guys think should be done if anything?

End rant..
