With Mannelly getting older...
Patrick Mannelly is only getting older and maybe it is time to start looking for an eventual replacement. I didn't realize how important he was until he went down this year. This kid looks like he would be a good guy to groom.
Rams drop Atogwe. I think he would be an improvement at FS and that we should pick him up.

Vincent Jackson trade
Here is a tweet from Shefter saying that the bears might be trading for Vincent Jackson. I'm not sure he is a good fit for Martz scheme but he is a good WR. He also is that big guy Cutler has wanted.

So i have been reading alot about Santonio Holmes and the trouble he has been getting into. Here is an article saying that he might be The Steelers fall guy since they seem to be having a rash of players getting into trouble( including the face of the franchise).
Now how would you guys feel about giving him a second chance if this actually comes about? I mean we are talking about a Superbowl MVP who had 79 Rec. for 1248 yds last year. In his 4 yr career he has 235 rec and 3835yds. Pretty good for a 26 yr old.
If the steelers are going to get rid of him maybe we should be a the team to give him a second chance. It sounds like they aren't going to want Brandon Marshall like compensation and he would be a legit number 1 receiver. I know some people are extremely confident in our WR corp (I'm not one of them) but with Holmes we would be getting someone who has already reached that potential. He has also proven that he can excel and make clutch catches in big games. Well what do you guys think?

Wow!! I bet the bears are starting to feel like that kid who couldn't get a date in high school. I just read that Cignetti will stay at Pitt. Honestly I'm not to bummed about it beacuse of the whole Wanny connection. O well it is what it is, let the search continue.

Here is a list of all the bears drafts since Angelo took over. Being as the season is almost over and it isn't looking like Angelo is going anywhere. I thought i would look back at the drafts from his tenure.

Well we all know things are looking grim for the bears. So what are we going to do? With minimal draft picks in next years draft we are going to have to look towards free agency. Unfortunately that is not looking so hot either.
