At this point in the season the Buffalo Sabres seem to be a breath away from a monumental collapse.  It is Buffalo after all... this is what we do.  BUT with about a month and a half to go I do believe that we are in excellent shape to make a post season run.  The sabres are a team all about working harder than their opponent, and during this loosing streak, the only problem has been fatigue.  That's it.  Earlier in the season it was scary how fast the sabres were.  They were flying into the boards causing numerous turnovers against top tier NHL teams.  So how do the Sabres get back this energy?  Simple... a rest.. or the Olympic break.  This 2 week break is going to save the sabres season I can guarantee it.  Don't forget, the Sabres have 3 games to play on Ottawa and trail by only 1 point.  Should be an exciting finish.

Is it just me, or does Kaleta's goal celebration make him look like a total d-bag... I love the way the guy plays and how much he hussels but I can't stand his little wrist flip pee-wee esc celebration.  I feel a too much shame and embarrasment being a sabres fan when I see it.  What bothers me the most is that I can easily see Sean Avery pulling the same 'look at me' gesture.  Anybody else enjoy this move?

Please please please can we trade this moron?? I have yet to see him do anything with the puck besides turn it over this year. People say that Max put blinders on when he had possession of the puck, well Derek Roy puts blinders on when he doesn't have the puck. That's right, this guy has no hockey sense whatsoever!! I love the Sabres more than anything, but it's like a knife being tapped further and further into my heart every time I see a should-be goal not occur due to the fact that Derek Roy is off in nowhere land avoiding a check. Why does Lindy love this guy so much? Pominville you and Roy need to retreat to a warm island together with no ice so you can't torture myself and my good buffalonian fans any longer.

I would trade ROy and Pominville to any team in a heartbeat for a player like Steve Bernier.

Put them on the 4th line, trade 'em, hell take them out back and shoot them! I don't care. I just can't take watching these little nats roam about mindlessly.
