Not sure how most people here feel about this. It's usually a topic I try to avoid since it can easily turn political (which would be anti TOS), but I have always been embarrassed of the Chief. I would be happy if this was another step in a gradual moving away from using it as the team's logo. Besides, the retro C is far superior anyway.

Farm Aid: Dave Huff

Basically, the biggest revelation in this piece by Yahoo is that Huff is like Jake McGee and Phil Hughes in that he does not actually go by the full name you have grown accustomed to calling him over the years. David Huff is nothing more than a memory.

Also of note, Gammons has Huff winning 12 games. A meaningless prediction save for the fact that Gammons obviously thinks Huff will be garnering a signifiant amount of innings pitched for us this year.

There's also a video of his delivery in the article for anyone wanting to see him in action.

Olney: The Protest should be upheld

He goes on to discuss the dangerous precedent this game would set if the protest was overturned. Umpires would essentially have the power to correct a previous call whenever they felt.

I randomnly started to get an odd glitch with this website.

After the page gets loaded, I'll be reading it for a little when all of a sudden I'll be taken to a page could not be found type page. I just find it weird since the webpage loads at first.

http://dg.specificclick.net/jensondemo/smServlet%3Fu.

The page could not be found page says that it could not find the above address, which makes no sense since obviously that's not this website's URL.

Please tell me I'm not alone here because it's becoming frustrating!

[editor's note, by Ryan]: Actually, this is happening to me as well, and I'm using Firefox. I've alerted our technical people, so hopefully this will be corrected soon

Does this mean Westbrook or Lee for Milledge is closer to happening? I hope so.

Has anyone here tried it out yet? I really like it especially the tabbed browsing and the new search bar but it is acting weird with letsgotribe.com.

Everytime I go to a thread all the text appears underlined and it is really pissing me off.

The weird thing is that it only does this with this website. All the other websites I frequent are absolutely fine. Does anyone have a solution to this?

5 IP today with only 2 hits allowed and no walks to go along with 8 strikeouts. Here's to four lefties in the rotation in two years!

I wonder what the Indians are going to do with all this pitching depth. It's really quite a nice luxury to have.

Maybe a package of Carmona and Snyder could net us a decent RFer at the trade deadline.

Michael's deal

What is with Shapiro's reluctance to pull off the Michaels-Rhodes swap? Although I am one of the few people here who realizes that Rhodes was flat out dominant last year, it does not mean he can't be replaced. We have a bigger need at RF than our bullpen anyway. I have confidence that Fernando Cabrera could easily take over for Rhodes. The bullpen was fine when Rhodes left like last year for family reasons and I am sure it would be fine again without him this year. Plus, we have Andrew Brown ready to contribute and hopefully a healthy Matt Miller. I think no matter what happens with Crisp-Marte, we should still get Michaels to round out our outfield.
