Best Spot for Nick Castellanos - DH? Hear me out... (longer)
After reading a recent article in ESPN the magazine's "Analytics Issue" (which... . oxymoron?) titled Designated Hackers, I was prompted to think beyond their obvious recommendation of moving Miggy to DH. The premise, for those without an insider account or the patience to listen to ESPN dribble on and on, is that the DH has become a dead spot in the order, with only one DH hitting more than 20 HR (David Ortiz) and four (!!) with slugging percentages below .400 in 2011. My expanded thoughts after the jump...
Game 1 down... What do you wanna see in Game 2?
After I wrote a response to "winners and losers" in another fanpost... I wanted to leave the past in the past and look forward to this Saturday's game to ask what you all wanted to see... For me, I hope to see the following:
Per Mlive - Delmas @ Practice
This is huge.. obviously. Getting Louis Delmas back in the secondary is essential. Especially after talk about the whole defensive death star surgery option...
Open Thread - July Trade Rumors
I wanted to start a thread so everyone could chat about the trades going on around the league without cluttering up the Tigers stories our great BYB Editors work so hard to provide. So... Here it is.
(I stuck this on the front page due to relevance - feel free to rec so it stays in the sidebar, folks - Alli)

2011 Off-season
With the recent fun some of us had predicting or wishing for next offseason in a recent comment session, I decided to offer a glimpse into all of the positions in 2011, placing emphasis on some of the more problematic spots on our team (weakspots, if you will), the current 2011 player(s) who would fill those spots, and Free Agents who could fill those needs. Feel free to chime in with critiques or wish list players I stayed away from.
