First, a disclaimer: I've watched football in general and been a fan of the Giants for fifty years. I never played the game, so I know there are nuances that escape me.
My question: Why do we have a fullback if he never ever gets a carry?

My first fanpost....and maybe my last. Let me know if formatted wrong, etc.
When I was a young'un, I use to have an ornery, stubborn mule named Tom Collins (TC, how 'bout that). On our dairy farm it was my job to ride Tom C to the back pasture and milk our ancient Guernsey named Grandma (I can hear the jokes now). She had gotten so old she wouldn't come to the barn, and Dad was to sentimentally attached to sell her, so I got the duty. But......I had to ride Tom C.
