Hi! The family, consisting of my wife Lisa and 4 kids ages 7-18 reside in the thriving metropolis of McQuady, KY (Breckinridge County, just north of Rough River Lake). My hometown consists of 3 churches, a small general store, few residents, and lots of crops, cattle, and tobacco.
As for me, I'm a '91 grad of UK (Ag. Economics) and an '85 grad of Breckinridge County High School(state champs 1965 (Butch Beard) and 1995 (bunch of not very tall good team kids)) After good stints in store management with Circuit City and Southern States Coop, I am currently employed with First State Bank in lending. This allows me plenty of time on the family farm to help my father with his crops and cattle, and my tobacco crop. I continue to raise this crop primarily to convince my kids that there is a better way to earn a living and the importance of good grades and education! (Do not take that statement to mean I don't like farming; I love it.)
Loves: God, family, UK, the occasional cold beer, friends, and sitting on deck next to grill, sun slowly setting, with the feeling that all is right with the world and a good book.
Dislikes: Freeloaders, losses to UL, extended power outages, and a weeks worth of 4 kids dirty clothes to wash
