I'm a second generation Island fan, but also I'm an educator and free-lance writer who cut his journalistic teeth writing and editing for various weekly newspapers and magazines. For a period of time in the early part of this century I worked for Hockey's Future; first, I was their Columbus Blue Jackets team editor and then a daily writer covering the Bridgeport Sound Tigers inaugural season. Since then I've worked in Media Relations for the Springfield Falcons, covered UMASS hockey and the goings-on in the Pioneer Valley.
