JOSHUA KUMMINS, a senior honors student at Malden High School (Go Golden Tornadoes!) in Massachusetts, is a contributor to college hockey coverage on SBNation.com and the Western College Hockey Blog in his fourth season on the Hockey East beat. In addition to his work with SB Nation, he is the Greater Boston/North Correspondent for New England Baseball News and works as Associate Editor of BostonSportsU18.com, overseeing site operations and managing staff writers. At Malden, Kummins serves as a member of the head editorial staff for the school's award-winning newspaper, The Blue and Gold. Under his leadership, the paper has claimed major awards in all three major categories - news, sports, and editorial writing - in the Greater Boston High School Newspaper Competition at Suffolk University.
