As if Texas fans don't disrespect Simms enough. We now have a legitimate reason to dislike him. That's four Texas-ex arrests in one off season.

Burnt Orange Nation Shall we start a firerickbarnes.com website

It appears a number one ranking during the season is all we can expect from Rick.  Texas loses in the 2nd round this year.  Great talent and they look clueless.  Time for a change?  I don't know enough about why Texas is loosing but the coaching seems too lost.  Why didn't they get Bradley open to shoot and why couldnt Pitmann find an open player to throw out to when triple covered.  Why?

Burnt Orange Nation Early entrants into UT

Every year Texas has a bunch of kids start school in the Spring Semester.  I heard durign the Army game this kid or that kid was starting school on Monday.  This year I haven't heard a peep out of Mack about any students starting early.  Has school not started on the 40 acres?  Does anybody have any links or ideas about what is going on?  I seem to remember Mack's official website having a story about it last year.

Burnt Orange Nation Wall Street Journal Article

Located in the Thursday Wall Street Journal there was a very good article about the business aspect of UT fundraising.  It was located in the Personal Journal section.  I was surprised it didn't mention Tom HIcks as being a booster.  I thought Mack's boon "One Heartbeat" states his interview was with HIcks and Deloss. And what young alumni has $4million around to fund a project.   Here is the link if anyone is interested: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704541004574600051780005902.html
