Hola folks, it's the eve of the playoffs, and it's very late at night (early?). Which of course means I'm sitting here alone (maybe crying) pondering the fate of our favorite basketall team. This will probably not come as a surprise to most of you, but I'm a little nervous.

Hawks forward Al Horford tells Yahoo! Sports he does not expect to play in the postseason due to pectoral injury. "I don't feel like it is realistic that I can play for the playoffs," Horford said. "Obviously, if we advance and start going we will see. But as of right now the way I feel I think I am out for the playoffs."

The Denver Nuggets have officially waived Ronny Turiaf.
Not sure about his health situation, but you could certainly do a lot worse for a fifth big man. Also, I think him and Noah are close because of their time on the French National team.

Scalabrine podcast
Not the biggest Scalabrine fan (mostly because those chants are the worst), but I thought he had some great insights on the team, and players. When his career is done, he'd probably be terrific as a coach, or analyst of some kind.
