I think KC is trying to say that Derrick is coming off the bench for strategic reasons rather than health concerns. I hope I'm wrong. I don't have an issue with a couple of games just to let him rest up, but if this is some type of new wrinkle for Vinny, I'm scared.

I would expect this season to play out like 2005-06 when the Bulls took advantage of an easy schedule to finish with a 12-2 surge. They reached .500 and took eventual champ Miami to six games in the playoffs.
