Anthony Randolph left the team to attend a family emergency in Arkansas, could potentially miss tomorrow's game vs the Nets. Also, it is mentioned that he knew of this family matter during yesterday's game which could possibly explain why he had such a "lifeless" game after his dominating performance vs the Magic on Saturday. This could mean that we'll be down to 8 bodies (again) instead of 9 for the Nets game and what's worse is that the missing body is a big and we all know how sorely we miss our bigs here in Golden State...

Other note: Turiaf has been cleared for more basketball related activities and Biedrins is still rehabbing, but both are with the team during the road trip.

Discussed this trade with Missing Barry in another FanPost:

Warriors send out CJ Watson, Ronny Turiaf, and a future 2nd round pick.
Orlando send out Anthony Johnson, Brandon Bass.

Would you do this trade? This is basically trading talent for talent in Turiaf for Bass swap, both are getting paid 4mil per year averaging about the same career wise, with Turiaf getting 1 more assist per game than Bass, and Bass getting 2 more points per game than Turiaf. Bass is 2 years younger. So this is basically trading Bass's more defensive minded, banging down low for Turiaf's locker room presence. CJ Watson and the 2nd round pick is only thrown in to sweeten the deal for Orlando since they were after him over the summer and Anthony Johnson is put in to sweeten the deal as well for Orlando, also, he's making twice as much than CJ, so that would be a more valuable expiringfor us than CJ's. And we all know that CJ will book after this year anyways, so Johnson can rot on the bench all year while we have Bass be our starting PF with AR backing him up until AR shows more signs of consistency and play making abilities. So would you do it?

Worst case scenario is now a reality. With the way injuries have piled up this year for the Dubs, did you expect anything less?

Also, quick note in the last sentence of the article:

"Warriors forward Anthony Randolph also could return from a left ankle injury as early as Saturday’s game against Orlando. He was initially expected to be out one to two weeks."

It hasn't been an easy first month for Curry and the Warriors, with trade demands being made, injuries all around, and plenty of negative press flowing around the team. Fortunately, Curry's been able to keep it somewhat in perspective thanks to a veteran who also played a little ball in North Carolina.

"Corey Maggette," Curry says of how he's survived the early drama. "He's really helped me keep my head straight through all of the turmoil the team's gone through and through our ups and downs. He helps make sure I come in every day and focus and have tunnel vision with all of that going on and make sure I just focus on getting better. He's really helped me get through this first month. ... It's hard when all you hear when people talk about your team is negatives. It's tough to keep your mind clear. You have to tell yourself that you know what's really going on because you're inside the ropes of the team and you know what to expect every day and how to handle it. I think if you remind yourself of that every day you can get through it."

I posted Stephen Curry's GQ Diary a couple weeks back and there's 4 new posts on it. Anyways, here's a little interestng excerpt from his latest entry:

He [Jonny Flynn] was telling me how his coach [Kurt Rambis] was a little more strict and their practices are a little more intense, and I was telling him about how Coach Nelson was, and he was kind of jealous of me.

So does this mean that Curry actually does like Nelson and would never want to leave Golden State? One can only hope...

Boycott the Warriors!

You all probably get many different emails throughout the season from ticket reps on ticket deals on various games or the next GSoM night. I've been alot getting them for the past few years having been on this site or just randomly purchasing tickets from the gswarriors.com website. ANYWAYS, after seeing how this season has started out, I've told myself that I will boycott the warriors and not attend anymore games. Not only am I just ignoring these ticket rep emails but I also replied to one of them (Chris Murphy) with the following email:

"Chris,

First and foremost, I'd like to thank you for your professionalism throughout all these years as a ticket sales rep for the Golden State Warriors and constantly reminding me of upcoming deals on games, I've definitely purchased tickets to many games through you over the past few years. Anyways, I would just like to say that I will not be attending anymore Warrior games until something is done about the front office. I am sick and tired of watching my beloved Warriors be the laughing stock of the NBA. 1 playoff appearance and 2 winning seasons in 15 years is NOT acceptable in a league where more than half of the teams get into the playoffs! Having said that, I am joining thousands of other die hard Warrior fans and refusing to buy anymore tickets to Warrior games until there is some change and I see any one or a combination of the following: Don Nelson stepping down as head coach, Robert Rowell getting fired, or Chris Cohan selling the team. I will however, still support my Golden State Warriors on my television without putting anymore money into Cohan's wallet. Thanks again for all these years of service and helping promote the Golden State of Mind name. And again, Go Dubs!

I encourage you all to do the same the next time they send you a ticket promotion to really let them know we mean business! It may not do much in terms of their decisions but it's worth a shot!
