I was just wondering if there was any stats that the moderators have about how many active members on each individual blog? How many posts, replies, members and maybe averages per day, per week, per month on each of the blogs.

I was just curious as to what these stats are or if they were even available. It'd be pretty cool if you could show those stats on the homepage. Just a little suggestion.

About the D League

I was just wondering how exactly does the D league work? Is it like baseball's farm system where every team has their own A, AA, AAA teams where they can develop their own players and can promote or trade players from? Or is it a free system like say, we send Watson back to the D League, are we the only ones able to bring him back up or can the Kings or the Clippers sign him?

So I have NBA TV and I've been noticing that they have this new series called Real Training Camp that gives coverage of different teams' training camps and I was wondering if they will be showing the Warriors and when: I've only seen the more popular teams so far like Boston, New Orleans, Phoenix, so it may be just for the more popular teams, but I don't know, Anyway I can find out?

Ugliest Player in the NBA

Ok, so I was reading articles and seeing pictures on the NBA and I came across alot of players that I thought was really ugly. So my question to you is, who is the ugliest player in the NBA current and all time?

There are quite alot of ugly players, including Greg Oden, Adonal Foyle, T-Mac got some fish bulb eyes, and who could forget Sam Cassell? Tyrone Hill was also pretty ugly, but he's retired now. For those of you who don't remember him, here's a picture...

Of all the rookies...

Bored at work, so let's start a discussion. Of all the rookies and sophomores we have right now; Brandon Wright, Marco Bellinelli, CJ Watson, Anthony Randolph, Anthony Morrow, Marcus Williams and Richard Hendrix, which one(s) do you think will become a very solid starter in the next 2-3 years and why?

If I were to say, I'd say Bellinelli and Randolph have the most potential of the lot. Bellineilli proved for two straight years in the Summer League that he can straight score and in bunches too, and this year hes shown that hes also working on his passing and creating for his teammates, hopefully he'll turn out to be the next Ginobili. He just needs to work on defense and bulk up a bit to match up against the other 2 guards in the NBA right now.

Randolph has shown from day one that hes coming here with confidence and something to prove. He's got some above average ball handling skills considering hes a forward and a decent mid range shot that will only get better and hopefully, he can extend his range so he can dump those treys for us. He also has really raw talent that needs to be developed and he also needs to bulk up ALOT. I remember one play in the Summer League this year where a shot was put up and it bricked off the rim, Randolph went up for the rebound and dunked it through all in one motion, when I saw that, I knew this guy would be something special. I'd say in 2-3 years, he could be very good for us and hopefully turn into a Rashard Lewis type player. Defnitely lots of potential.

And for the rest of them...

Brandon Wright looks to like he could develop into a pretty good role player. Once he bulks up, his long arms could block shots and grab rebounds for us. Nothing too special, but definitely starter quality.

Richard Hendrix also looks like another player that could develop into a good role player off the bench. He may have no offensive game, but once he steps on the court, he can size up with many front courts in the NBA and will help us with our greatest weakness: rebounding.

CJ Watson showed us last year that he is worthy for the NBA in limited minutes. In about a year or two, I can see him as a quality PG off the bench, hes shown that he can score and dish. He may not be star quality but definitely gives us good depth off the bench.

Don't have much of an opinion on Anthony Morrow since I haven't really seen him play all that much, only seen what hes done through the box score. And considering the high field goal percentages he has, I'm sure he can also develop into a good role player and somebody to dish to for those transition threes (he was shooting over 500% from 3 point range during the Summer League). Another player with potential.

And last but not least, Marcus Williams. I haven't seen much of him either, but from what I've seen from his college days, hes the one "true" PG we have on our roster and thrives in the open court. He also looks like he loves the run and gun style nellie ball and looks like he could thrive in our system. He never got a chance to blossom backing up Jason Kidd and then Devin Harris, but I think he could help us alot here in the Bay.

Who know's what will happen with these players, all we can do is hope and pray that they will all blossom into great players, but if not, I feel they can also be very good trade bait if things dont work out.

Just my two cents, any thoughts?

Biedrins back to Europe?!

First off, I just wanted to say how relieved I am that Ellis finally got signed to a long term deal and that he's getting the money that he deserves at 6 years for 66 million. Anyways, so I was surfing the net and I came across this article that says that Biedrins may be contemplating going back to Europe for basketball next year? They say teams over there have enough money to sign him up for more than 10 million a year, which is what we're projected to offer him. Or maybe these are just rumors from Beans' camp to get more leverage with the Warriors since they're the only team with the cap space to sign him now? I really pray that Beans doesn't leave, if he does, we're back to that "rebuilding" mode that us all Warrior fans are used to. I think to keep Beans we might need something around 11 million a year, maybe 5 years at 55 mil or 4 years at 44 mil, what do you guys think?

Link to the article here:
http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_9987389?source=rss

Just something on the side; now that we basically know who we have for the 08-09 season, who will be on our 15 man roster?

1.Ellis
2.Maggette
3.Jackson
4.Harrington
5.Biedrins (Assuming he gets signed)
6.Bellinelli
7.Watson
8.Azubuike
9.Williams
10.Turiaf
11.Wright
12.Randolph
13.Hendrix
14.Kosta(Is he coming back?)
15.Maybe Anthony Morrow? He's been doing good during summer league, what do you guys think?
