JIM IRSAY SAYS "MANNING NOT RELEASED"
Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted around 12:15am "No he hasn't been released nor was a decision reached weeks ago"
in response to Jason LaConfora's report that Irsay has already made the decision to part ways with Manning. Jason's report has not caught the attention of national publications that are now carrying the report as "breaking news"...This all comes at the end of a drama filled week, where the Colts signed a new coach, offensive coordinator, also seeing Manning and Irsay go round for round in the national media over what Manning described as "not a good place to be" at West 56th.

CHOKE ON THIS
Jason Whitlock contends that Peyton Manning must win this game in order to preserve his legacy as a champion.
Unfortunately,
I agree with him, but not just about Peyton Manning, but about the Indianapolis Colts in general.
THIS IS A MUST WIN GAME!
Indianapolis Colts, Not Chargers, Are the Most Dangerous Team in the Playoffs
For the last couple of weeks, Colts’ fans have read articles, and listened to the talking heads on T.V. (sadly including former Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy) say such and such a team was going to be the most dangerous team in the playoffs.
2009 Indianapolis Colts
People can say what they want about the Colts being 11-0. They can say we are so many inches or so many plays away from being 6-5, whatever! But the reason this team is 11-0 is because of this quote from Kubiak, "Then you're looking at a team, an 11-0 football team, one of their players gets the heck knocked out of them and nobody lost focus. They went right to the line of scrimmage and made a 30-something yard play that got their team going."
There is something this team has that many other teams simply don't have and that is iron focus. This team may not be clicking on all cylinders. We may not be playing our best football. We may not even be the best team in the NFL according to the pundits. But one thing that you cannot deny about the 2009 Indianapolis Colts is that they are the most determined, focused, and resilient team in the NFL.
If you asked me if I wanted the team with the sexiest QB, or the team with the big play ability, or the team with the old tiller at the wheel, or the team that stays focused and is resilient when it matters, I'll take the resilient, focused, and consistent team any day of the week!
I think each of us thus far should be immensely proud of the 2009 Indianapolis Colts. We are truly privileged to be apart of a special season that in my honest opinion hasn't reached its peak yet.
