Posting and Toasting Dear Mike D and Donnie Walsh

Please stop playing Jared Jeffries.  I am tired of watching him take playing time away from the future of this team.  The more Jeffries plays, the less other GM's want to trade for him.  He is a waste of a roster spot, a mistake from the former regime, don't play him.  Let him work on keeping the bench warm.  Jordan HIll needs the playing time more.  Dude is nasty, maybe you didn't see him much, being on the east coast and all, but here in Tucson, dude beasted it every night in McKale.  he is the polar opposite of the pussdom that is Channing Frye.  He actually goes into traffic to get rebounds, blocks shots into the 5th row, and hits j from about 15 ft. He may need to bulk up to play C, but what the hell, just get him on the court.

Also Chad Ford from ESPN and I would like to see Darko get some run this year.  Considering he has a unique skill set and is 7 foot, can block shots, and possibly can still shoot, why not play him?  Do you guys enjoy laughing at jared Jeffries hitting the side of the backboard once a game? Or maybe you enjoy watching stat lines that occur with 35 mins play 1-7 shooting 3 rebs 1 assist 0 blocks 0 steals and 3 turnovers.   Maybe this all come back to Jeffries... I hate him.  Please stop playing him.

It's pretty tough to be a Knick fan right now, you guys have said a lot of this but I just needed to have my say.

Posting and Toasting Jordan Hill and the Knicks

Living in Tucson, I've gotten to see a whole lot of Jordan Hill over the past 3 years.  This guy could barely dribble and fouled like Greg Oden as a freshman and by the time of his junior year, he was the best center in the pac-10, probably the 2nd best in the nation.  He can run, has improved rapidly since he got out of high school, is a big, strong prescence in the middle, can block shots, rebounds with tenacity and actually has a semblance of a post game.  Why not pick this guy?  If we trade David Lee he can move right into his spot and immediately improve the defense.  Or if we keep David Lee, just slide Hill into the 5 spot, play Lee at 4 and just play faster offensively.  Hill runs the floor pretty well for a 6'10 240 guy.  He could be a menace on the fast break.

Posting and Toasting Nasty Nate and David Lee

So after waited years for the Knicks to have  semblance of a purpose and plan to become a solid basketball team, the time has come.  Except there is one problem, this damn economy.  Nate Robinson must go.  Its as simple as that.  As much as I love his ability to carry the Knicks when he is on fire, he'lll never be more than Bobby jackson during his King days, 6th man of the year but not someone you win a title with.  David Lee is the Truth to Knick fans.  Dude came off the bench when he clearly was outplaying Eddy Curry when Isiah was at the helm, he was the only reason for Knicks fans to watch the games during the past 3 years.  He was/is "a rose in a pile of crap" that was the roster Donnie Walsh inherited.  I almost vomit just thinking about Lee in another uniform, Sacto, Phx, Chicago, Ugh. No, dude is a Knick for life.  Gotta sign him and I think he wants to stay.  What basketball player doesn't want to play for mike D'Antoni? Nate can go, as much as it sucks, but its reality.

Posting and Toasting Next year?

When Danillo gets healthy, at what point do the Knicks say, "We're building for 2010."  They don't have their draft pick in 2010 thanks to Eddy Curry, and if they continue like they are this year, and either barely make the playoffs or barely miss it in the east, how helpful would a 9-16 draft pick be, again?  From what I read, the 2009 Draft class isn't exactly stacked.  Maybe I am wrong, but not being able to beat the Bucks and T'Wolves ain't cutting it.  Maybe this is too pessimistic this early in the season, but the Knicks need some NBA talent on this roster, 7 guys won't win many games.
