I am a future pharmacist, and a current father of a 19 month old little girl. I am a Chiefs, Jayhawks, Royals, and Sporting KC fan. I moved to KC in 1997 so I missed the glory years, but I became one of you after going to Arrowhead for the Wildcard game between Denver and KC.
I watch every game I can and go to St. Joe now in the summer, and I will defend KC to any other NFL fan. We have the best fans, stadium, and uniforms. We are through the worst of the rebuilding years and now we are going to be a playoff team once again.
It's tough to be a fan through all the up's and downs...but many here have done it longer and seen much worse so I respect Chiefs fans...LOYALTY.
I grew up an Eagles fan because I was born in south Jersey...but as an Army brat I was transplanted into many different fanbases...I stayed an Eagles fan after I moved here..but the Chiefs were always on my mind...I think the total transition for me was the Chiefs Eagles game a few years ago when McNabb and TO put up like 3 TD's in the first half and then Green and LJ came back and won the game..I was torn for a bit...but walked away smiling that KC won...and I hated TO...I think that was the moment I gave up on Philly and decided to make KC my one and only. I still have a preference for Philly when they aren't playing KC, and I love watching them beat Dallas.
I hate the Raiders, Broncos, Chargers, and the Cowboys. (In that order) I prefer teams that have great defenses and that can run the ball...so this team is just playing music to my ears lately.
I am a KU student and I have been a fan of KU since 1998...I love Lawrence and I went to high school with Wayne Simien so I was able to watch him play for a few years before he went on to be one of the greatest college players of my lifetime.
I also am a Royals fan and I have to admit that baseball was my favorite sport to play...but not to watch. I still enjoy going to the K and watching them...but it isnt close to the same as Arrowhead.
I created my profile in 2009 but I have been on this site daily since 2006. I think that I have spent more time reading posts on this page than textbooks for my classes.
