Grew up in the Bay Area. 20. UCSC.
Was a naive young little boy and always wondered why they showed "golden state" games all the time on FSN.... Thinking "golden state" meant florida -_-

3 Nuggets may not be coming back from China
WIth Kenyon, Chandler, and J.R. possibly being stuck in China, it looks like the Nuggets may have some problems making the playoffs. This does open up a playoff spot, but of course the Warriors are going to probably end up fighting for the 8th seed at the most. Maybe without these 3 key players it will be easier for Nene to strike a deal elsewhere, cough cough.
NBDL JAM vol. Hendrix & Nelson
Hey GSoM!
just to take our minds off of our current losing hiatus...
So a few weeks into the season our season starting point guard, and undrafted rookie from Duke, Demarcus Nelson and our 49th pick in the draft from Univ. of Alabama Richard Hendrix were sent to the NBDL Bakersfield Jam. Nelson was sent most likely to polish his skills and Henrix probably because it did not look like he'd be getting any PT.
Here are their stats from their first game there, which was a pregame against the Arsenal.

Nelson was pretty solid, while Hendrix stunk it up... My thoughts were basically Nelson was doing what he what he does and Hendrix was never coming back to the NBA. Until...

The thing that really surprises me is Hendrix's stat line. It's pretty solid nonetheless - 31pts, 14rebounds, and 3 blocks. Especially 3-3 beyond the arc? what? Nelson's stats were pretty much predicted. He should be dropping more dimes though. With Hendrix's one good game you can't say that he can transfer that to the NBA, with O'bryant putting up decent numbers with the Jam and look at him now.
All in all, I always think its fun to watch our Warriors play in the NBDL and watch them flourish. They are trying hard to make a name for themselves and it's always a joy to see players work their way up (like Watson & Azubuike).
