Football is like chess, every move matters, talent is not nearly as important as mental abilities..

Mike Singletary made it clear that he was going to run first, then only pass as a last resort. This is exactly why they lost so many games. Especially trying to run with a terrible offensive line. Alex Smith is looking better than ever because he is playing in the " SHOTGUN FORMATION " which gives him time to think and react, something they should have done for Shaun Hill and Alex Smith when he was a rookie. Let me explain in perfect detail. If the defense knows you are most likely going to run, they bring more men up to the line to shut you down, this is called " Run Defense " !! Mike Singletary and Jimmy Ray ran on first and second down almost every set of downs. How much easier could they have made it for the defense to stop us ? Defense usually sets up in either a run or a pass defense on first and second downs, but almost always sets up for a pass on 3rd and 4th downs, because it is much harder to run for extra yards than it is to pass. So Singletary would run on first and second down, then after our poor offensive line failed miserably, he would have to pass on 3rd down, and the defense knew the pass was coming, so the defense knew exactly what we were doing 90 % of the time. Some ofthe worst play calling I have ever seen, this is why Shaun Hill started making mistakes, He was forced to throw on 3rd down, when the defense was in pass formation to stop him. VERY SIMPLE !!

I think MIke Singletary and Jimmy Ray should play Madden football on the Playstation in their spare time, this will show them how to be more creative in their play calling.

BRING BACK SHAUN HILL AND PUT HIM IN THE SHOTGUN FORMATION, WE WILL SEE THAT I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG,

This is why Shaun Hill started losing..

Why did the 49ers win and Alex Smith look so good all of a sudden ? Real simple ! Just put him in the Shotgun position and stop running the ball every down with a crappy Offensive line. The Shotgun formation gave Alex Smith more time to look around and pass. Shaun Hill was winning when he was in the Shotgun formation also. But then he was forced to come up to center and hurry every play. And they was running on 1st and second down also, leaving Shaun Hill in a stressful situation, to try and make up for the loss of yards. So now Alex Smith gets Shaun Hills job because of poor play calling. Sounds very unfair to me.... SHAUN HILL ROCKS !!

SINGLETARY WAS HIRED BECAUSE OF SHAUN HILL !!

SINGLETARY WAS HIRED BECAUSE OF SHAUN HILL !!!

Did everyone forget how horrible we were before Shaun Hill came in and changed things quickly ? Alex Smith and JT O' Sullivan were true laughing stocks at the quarterback position. Alex and JT were completely overwhelmed and fumbled and threw the ball wildly. I dont think I have ever seen such terrible performances from a NFL Quarterback. Then Mike Singletary steps in for Mike Nolan and starts Shaun Hill. Shaun Hill breaks the All-time completion record in his first starting game, and no one notices. And still have bad things to say about Shaun Hill. Shaun Hill wins 75 % of his games and still gets no respect. Then this year he is doing good also, but the play calling is run the ball on the first and second downs, then put tons of pressure on the quarterback to get at least 10 yards to get a first down, instead of realizing our running game is doomed because our Offensive line is terrible, and passing on the first down more often. Jimmy Raye and Mike Singletary also put Shaun Hill up on the center way too much when he had no time to react because of our weak Offensive Line. Dan Marino almost always played in the Shotgun formation because they had a weak Offensive Line and Dan Marino was incredibly accurate just like Shaun Hill. If you can hit your Reciever on the numbers and realize instinctively where the best spot to throw the ball is quickly, then you will get your recievers down field and score. This is why Shaun Hill was winning. And because we were winning, Mike Singletary was getting all the credit. I admit Mike Singletary is a great coach, but what the hell is he doing getting rid of ( Rossum ), ( Kory Sheets ), and the man who made him " ( SHAUN HILL ) ????

The stores never even sold his jersey !! That sucks !!

Shaun Hill broke the all time NFL record for most completions in his first starting game, and he won most of his games with a crappy offensive line. Alex Smith fumbled the ball, threw tons of interceptions, and made tons of bad decisions, and you still pull for the over rated college star who had one of the best offensive lines in college to relax behind. Shaun Hill knows the game speed, and makes cat like instinctual plays. He is smart, where Alex Smith has physical skills but lacks mental skills. In the end, mental skills always win. The stores never even sold a Shaun Hill jersey, that sucks !!! Then we get rid of Rossum, the best return man ever. And let go the best replacement man for Gore available in Kory Sheets. Kory Sheets could burn anyone, just like Chris Johnson did to the Niners on Sunday. And we passed up on Aaron Rodgers and picked the king of interceptions ( Alex Smith ).... Aaron Rodgers threw 19 straight completions in college against the toughest defense of USC. Aaron Rodgers is accurate, Alex Smith couldn't hit the broad side of a Barn with a shotgun from 10 yards away.

WE NEED LARRY JOHNSON

We just made 2 major mistakes by releasing Rossum and allowing super fast Kory Sheets to leave

They say coaches always know what is best ? Well if that is true, then how did someone as talented as Shaun Hill get passed by ? Shaun Hill is a winner, he makes amazing decisions and broke the all time completions record for a starting QB. I watched the pre-season very closely, and Glen Coffee looked ok at best, where Kory Sheets and Brit Miller looked very impressive. Kory Sheets can burn by people, just like Chris Johnson ( Titans ) did against us yesterday. Glen Coffee runs straight ahead only, and is very predictable. We would be completely stupid to pass up on an amazing talent like Larry Johnson. He is tired of playing for a team like the Chiefs that makes bad decisions consistantly. I believe if he came to the 49ers he would feel the fire again and start beaking records again. The Niners will never win if we keep making stupid decsions like letting Rossum, Sheets, Miller, Shaun Hill, and Aaron Rodgers slip out of our grasp...... STAND UP FANS AND LET WHOMEVER IS MAKING THESE STUPID DECSIONS KNOW, THAT WE ARE TIRED OF WAITING FOR THE NINERS TO RETURN TO GREATNESS !!!!!!

WHY DID WE LET KORY SHEETS GO ???

WHY DID WE LET KORY SHEETS AND BRIT MILLER GO ? THEY WERE BOTH AMAZING AND PLAYMAKERS FOR OUR FUTURE.I THINK THE MAFIA CONTROLS EVERYTHING AND THEY DONT WANT US TO WIN. DIDNT ANYONE WATCH KORY SHEETS AND BRIT MILLER TEAR UP THE PRE-SEASON ? FRANK GORE IS AMAZING, BUT GETS HURT TO EASY, TRYING TO OVER COMPENSATE FOR OUR SUPER WEAK OFFENSIVE LINE. GLEN COFFEE IS WAY OVER RATED. ALL HE CAN DO IS RUN STRAIGHT AHEAD, AND WITH A POOR OFFENSIVE LINE HE IS DOOMED. KORY SHEETS CUTS AMAZINGLY AND HAS AMAZING INSTINCTS TO FIND OPEN HOLES. GLEN COFFEE JUST RUNS RIGHT INTO THE BACKS OF OUR LINEMAN. BRITT MILLER WAS JUST LIKE TOM RATHMAN, SUPER SKILLED AND HARD NOSED. WE NEED NEW TALENT SCOUTS. MAYBE I SHOULD APPLY. I PICKED AARON RODGERS INSTEAD OF ALEX SMITH FOR QUARTERBACK,AND HE IS KICKING BUT WITH A WEAK OFFENSIVE LINE ON THE PACKERS.
