Andre Johnson kicking it in the club with Pacman?
So....just watched the recently discovered video footage of reputed NFL player/genius Adam "Pacman" Jones "making it rain" in the Las Vegas strip club Minxx during NBA All-Star weekend in 2007. I'll link it on here for you to see if you'd like. It's pretty revealing, to say the least. Shows clear footage of Pacman doing his thing with a gang of money in his arms.
However, before linking it I will warn: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS NUDITY AND VULGAR LANGUAGE. DO NOT CLICK ON IT IF YOU WOULD TAKE OFFENSE. IT IS IN -A STRIP CLUB-.
Link and more opining after the jump....
Who's kidding who?
Unfortunately, due to the recent history of FA and the flow of talented players from other NFL divisions into the NFC East, I have a bad, bad feeling Jay Cutler is going to end up playing against the Cowboys twice a year.
It's clear that Romo and Manning are not going anywhere and will not be supplanted, or at least I am of the opinion that they are established. However, Campbell's slow, vascillating development plus the QB rumblings in Philly over the last few years, I believe, make those two destinations very viable.
I don't have a master list handy, but just look at all the superstar/very talented players that have been traded or signed into the NFC East over the last number of years. T.O. is a good place to start. Jason Taylor, Asante Samuel, Albert Haynesworth, Zack Thomas(in obviously no particular order), plus many more have found their way into the most competitive division in football as of late. Here's where the money is, and herein lie great chances at NFL Championships. I'm sure you, yourself, can think of a couple more superstars who've recently arrived in our division just off the top of your head.
Some people will argue that Cutler arriving into the NFC East is really not that big of a deal, as the jury is still out on how good he really is. I, for one, think that while Cutler clearly is a whiny, spoiled trash-talker, he also is a clear upgrade over McNabb or Campbell. Therefore, I hope the Jets or someone else snags his ass, and quick.
Maybe I'm worrying a bit too much, but I just plain don't want another Pro Bowl QB in our division. The dallascowboys.com blog pointed out that if he supplants Campbell, which is not far-fetched at all, we'd have 4 Pro Bowl QBs. That's nuts.
(Unrelated) Of course, the AFC South and the NFC South would still be deluded enough to claim they are the toughest of divisions. Get in line suckas.
Again, just worrying aloud. How do you all feel about this?
Cya!
What are you doing, Newman?
The Cowboys as an organization are going through some pretty high school-like drama right now. I personally feel that Romo has seemed to miss open receivers lately more often than usual. His strong suit was always a rapid progression through his reads, then spreading the ball around to multiple pass-catchers. It needed to be addressed by our coaching staff, if possible.
However, I am embarrassed to be a Cowboys fan right now because they are acting like a bunch of little girls. Whether problems exist or not, the players should bring them up within the organization. Quit telling the media about internal problems. You don't announce your family's problems at the City Council meeting.
Oh well. It happened. At least damage control seemed to be in effect and players and coaches were back on the same page of not telling all to the media as if it's the Maury show. Back to focusing on the revenge we've all sought since we knew Romo would miss the Giants game.
But of course not. Now Newman has deemed it appropriate to bring up a new issue in an interview with the Cowboys most formidable opponent all season, ESPN. Calling the coaches out on a national network? WHAT ARE YOU DOING NEWMAN? I thought you were smarter than this. If something needs to be said, BE A MAN and say it to the coaches or even Jerry if need be.
It gets worse. Quoted from an SI.com article:
"He later told reporters in the locker room he said those remarks publicly in hopes those in the organization would hear his comments and adhere to them."
ARE YOU A FRIGGIN IDIOT? It's better to stay quiet and have everyone suspect you're a dumbass than to open your whiny mouth and remove all doubt.
Even though last season ended in heartache, it was one of the most fun rides I've been on in a long time. This whole season has been tainted and has sucked. Last year, me and my boys cooked out for every game. I've watched a good majority of this year's games at home by myself.
I'll be at the big game this Sunday night. Please don't leave me with a sour Texas Stadium memory gentlemen.
Embarrassed to be a fan of a sowing circle.
