Guess I'm not the only one looking for extra bleacher tics for Saturday...

Anyhow, I'm looking for 2 bleacher tickets for Saturday, as the title says. I can pay cash, or you can swap for 2 bleacher tickets to the Friday or Sunday games. Or we can make other arrangements, but I WILL not strip for it. You don't want to see me strip anyhow, as you'd want to gorge your eyeballs out and pour bags of salt on it afterwards. Trust me, I'm doing the world a favor.

Update: Just need 1 more...

Ya know, those 300 character minimum requirements are a hassle sometimes... but anyhow! Enough filler! As the title suggests, I have 2 bleacher tickets to Sunday's game for sale that I can't use. $11 each. For pick up, I live in Richmond (right next to the border to El Cerrito, and right off 80), and it would have to be tonight, tomorrow night, or any time Saturday. Or I can transfer it via the internet with that A's ticket exchange thing they have nowadays.

That should be enough filler, I believe.

Spare bleacher tickets for Sunday

I have 6 bleacher tickets for Sunday's game. Looking for takers!

Now to fill the min-character mark, I will explain HOW I came about with 6 tickets. Earlier in the season, due to a change in schedule at work, I was unable to attend a few of the games I had season tickets for. I obviously exchanged them for various other games I could attend, and I wanted to grab some friends to a game for a weekend, so I picked Sunday as the day I would do that (lots of them are poker/texas-hold'em freaks, so the poker set would be an incentive for them to go).

Lo' and behold, a friend of my brother asks me if I wanted to go to Sunday's game with him, since he got 2 tickets from his work. Naturally, I said I already had tickets and I was gonna ask him the same thing (he's an A's fan too), but I asked where his seats were.

His answer was "Section 120" Which is like, next to the dugout. I've never sat that close before (previous was thru him again, near the bullpen in 2004 at the end where Joe Blanton made his debut in relief. I won't say more of that game...), so I'm jumping on that chance.

So now, I have 6 bleacher tickets I don't need - no point in inviting my friends if I won't be sitting with them.

First come first serve! I will transfer via email (best way), although I can leave them at Will Call tomorrow for you (we're getting there early to try to catch BP). Or you can pick them up at my house today. I live in Richmond, practically right of I-80.

I have a spare bleacher ticket. First come first serve, simple as that!

Just to meet the min. 300, a disclaimer:

No obligation to sit, converse, or "hang" with me, although there is the possibility that it will end up that way if you go to LF bleachers. Must promise good mojo for Zito, and scream your lungs out for the team.

Wasn't able to find anyone to cover my shift, so I have 2 bleacher tickets available. I guess it would be best to transfer via email/MyTicket on the website, unless you can pick it up tomorrow before the game (Before 9:30, I'm in Richmond. After 10, I'll be at work in Concord).

First come first serve, and a promise you'll give Zito good mojo in my place!

A's old cap design inquiry

Hey gang, need some help here.

A friend of mine is looking for a particular A's cap that I personally have no recollection of - probably due to my lack of following during the period he says the cap is from.

Basically, it's a all-green cap, with the "A's" lettering white. No gold or anything on the design - just the "modern day" green all around, and the letters are white.

He swears it's sometime during the 90's when they wore this (alternate?), so I'm hoping someone else would know when exactly they wore it, and if possible, where to find it.

Thanks in advance!

Seeing as how I'm rather unknowledgable in the world of satellite radio, I was wondering if there was any differences between the two. Or more precisely, is there a difference for a A's fan to consider? I'm currently looking to get one for the main purpose of listening to games, as here at work I get reception only after 6 pm and with the A/C off (it screws with the 1550am signal for some reason). With summer coming, it means that as it stands, regular radio won't cut it out for me.

Some of the main things I'm wondering is the broadcast selection. Do you get to choose between home and away broadcasts, or is only one of them (i.e. Home) available? Also, are most of the A's games on the schedule as well?

Of course, it doesn't hurt to know of some nice deals or cheaply priced devices that I can get as well.

Thanks in advance! Update [2006-6-16 13:31:46 by Kaiser99]:Almost forgot, are pre- and post-game shows available as well with satellite radio?

Nintendo DS and spare (single) bleacher ticket for Opening Night

As the title says, I have two "subjects" to this.
First the important one.

I have a spare bleacher ticket as my 1st-3rd options all turned out negative. Looking for a taker, but if for some reason one of the drummers don't have a ticket, I'd like to give it to him/her. Otherwise, first-come-first-serve. I plan to leave for the Coliseum at about 3 pm, meaning I'd get there about 3:30pm (I live in Richmond).

I have a Nintendo DS, and I'd like to try a "real world" test of it's Wi-Fi capabilities. Obviously, if it's raining, this would be scrapped as I don't want my DS to get wet and blow a fuse on me. Just a random shot in the dark to see if someone also has one and we can see if it'll function in a stadium full of people.

Not to mention that DS also functions as something to keep me entertained until they let people into the coliseum (as I won't have a friend with me). That, or I can wander around and follow my nose to one of the tailgates and see if people are kind enough to accept another A's fan.

Some questions about season tickets

For the first time in my "young life", I finally have the time and resources to buy a season ticket package (and actually attend all the games). I'm looking at the 14-game hit-and-run deal, but I guess I have some questions about the whole thing first. (Can't find the answers on the A's site.)

Is the only way to buy it via phone or email?

Are they mailed out a certain time before the scheduled game, or do you get all the tickets mailed to you at one time?

Just wanted to confirm that a bleacher-season ticket is like regular bleacher tickets, in that there is no assigned seating and it's first-come-first-serve?

Thank you in advance for the help! Look foward to seeing some (to be) familiar faces around this season.

I'd normally just lurk and throw a comment or two now and then, but I'm in a bit of a dilemna and figured the best way for advice is to ask some fellow A's fans.

We have some guests from Boston (my brother's friends), and they are staying over for a couple nights. As courtesy, they have brought over some gifts for us. Included are some articles of clothing.

Namely, Boston RED SOXES clothing. Nothing fancy or expensive like jerseys. Just a cap and a couple t-shirts.

Do I politely accept, but let them know I will never wear it (and hence most likely give away to a Red Soxes fan I know), or do I decline it because I would never wear it?

Thoughts?
